Hello there, it is not a bug, you can see countless videos of players lighting the match and some of them winning the game.
Try to do it line an actual match as it is a very realistic simulation.
Strike from left to right in a slow but steady manner. Neither too slow or too fast, once you get the grip it's a piece of cake.

A game is not an "exe" file, the .exe file is the EXEcutable you use to run it. Download the Windows version and extract it to run the exe file.
