I'll see what I can do!
Thanks for the review and video! And I know, right? School would be WAY more fun if people learned through game design! I'm certainly glad I decided to do this project, and I'm glad that people got to find it once I was done :).
Wow, thanks for the video! I'll put your channel up in the list :).
I start college in about a month, so I don't know if I will be able to develop this particular game further (as much as I want to), but I may at some point in the very indeterminate future.
Or maybe I'll take a bit of what I learned and start a new, better project!
Hi UncleRamon, unfortunately I don't think that is anything I can fix... I'm so sorry :(. The engine I used is notoriously laggy and mean to computers. Especially Windows ones... I will look into it but I don't think I can do much. :/
Wow, thanks for the LP and advice! If I ever get around to posting an update, I will increase the legibility and make the requirements for using the first floor elevator more clear. Thanks for giving it a try!! :D
Oh good! I'm so glad that the Linux version worked! I was afraid that it wouldn't... my experience with Linux is almost nonexistent, so I thought I may have missed some files. But it seem I didn't! Thank you so much for playing it :).
Totally fine! The video is cool! I'll add it to the list.
Yes, sorry the first level isn't intuitive at all. I may post a walkthrough later on, but for now, in the first level, you need to collect 7 things (not including the flashlight) in order to open the closed door. In there is a laptop that you have to interact with in order to move on to the next level using the elevator. Good luck!
Okay, I am terribly sorry about this, but it seems that Blender games occasionally don’t support Windows 8, especially on computers with AMD graphics cards. The only possible solutions could be:
-Running in compatibility mode for Windows 7
-Running as an administrator
-Updating/installing AMD OpenGL drivers
-Installing .NET/S2008 frameworks
-Installing Python
But these are a stretch, to say the least. I do not fully know what is going on, and do not have a working Windows 8 computer to test with. These (possible) fixes are probably not worth your time, but feel free to try them if you want. I’m incredibly sorry for the inconvenience and incompatability.
Very cool! I've shared it along :).
Oh, awesome! I loved the video, and will share it around for you! Since the game hasn't been around yet long enough for a walkthrough to be written, if you need any pointers on finishing the game, feel free to contact me.
Thank you! I'm glad this version was better for you :).
Wow, that is a pretty kicking computer! Unfortunately, it is looking more and more like Windows 8 is not yet supported. And without a Win8 computer of my own, I can not look into the problem very well. I will look to the blender support forums for a solution, but I'm afraid I may not find one. I'm terribly sorry if it turns out that it won't work.
May I ask what version you were using, and the specs of your computer?
New Version! PUPPET 1.0S is the same game, with a faster character. Download if you want a more-efficient experience.

Thanks :). And as for you missing things... If you were able to exit each level using the elevator, you didn't miss anything. Those messages that say certain things "aren't found" is just the game doing occasional passes and removing levels of the game to reduce lag. However, if you were not in the level it was trying to remove, it displays a "missing" message on that console. That's all.
Wow, thank you so much! The video was so cool to see :). Thank you so much!
Hello! Thanks for downloading and commenting! I was unaware of the -w ability, that is very cool. I will post that more-publically soon.
As for the walking, I know it is slow. I made it that way because the caracter you play as is rather old and in no where near top physical condition. I also wanted to add more contrast for when you finally get to run in the last level. So, I made the walk slow stylistically, and do not intend to change it unless many people have a problem with it.
Again, thank you!
