Hmm I wonder if using Special K in conjunction with dgvoodoo I could get POM working or at least some sort of height mapping. Are you familiar enough with it to know if that is possible?

The goal was to provide assets from later gears games for those making GoW PC mods. I am not actively developing additional assets at this time.
I will need to add some, once I have a bit more time. I am still in the process of experimenting on what fits ok within the thief world. Some textures look out of place at the moment.
Thats legit. Definitely would love to see lan implemented so we could use Hamachi or Tunggle for games.
Thanks mate, will look into this. The creator of ReShade had actual POM working, not just parallax but he gave up due to bad artifacting because he was not using proper depth maps. I got the code, but it seems broken in recent releases.
I have asked the dgvoodo dev to allow wrapping dx8->dx11 but its still a ways off. Right now only dx9 is possible with Reshade/SweetFX.
So it may just be that I will take POM assets from another engine and make actual geometry from those models and directly insert those into the game levels instead of going this route as this may well end up tanking performance.
How is this still alive I thought you guys got a cease and desist?
Working with some folsk from Zentax atm will see if this proves fruitful.

I am in progress of getting the 360 DLC files properly ported to PC. All the scripts for level asset loaded are contained on console and do not differ from PC. The issue is the compression encryption of the files which make it difficult to extract the needed data.
I am still working on getting the code working properly you can watch for updates here or on my youtube channel. Should have more info once my time frees up this summer.
Yes, the .lua files to load assets are not in the PC version. I am looking into the consoles files to get these into the PC game.
I am willing to help with the bump/normal maps, especially after I finish up my Thief 3 work.
