Are you making sure to make the effects really cheap on the system? I would hate to play this and get 12-20 fps whenever I shoot at a wall.

I love how after half a decade they still haven't relesed any gameplay videos.
The maps look fine, an extra helping of HDR and specular with bumpmapping would be even...
*Drools*
Could you, you know, supply us with the knowledge of how to use this? Or should I spend another 20 minutes looking for the tutorial in the sea of forum threads?
They look good in a banner, but they probably look like *** in-game.
Oh yeah, like you're ever going to get a server with even 8 players.
The rail grinding looks quite a bit like Jet Set Radio, which is a wonderful game, I think I'll give this a test drive.
The update destroyed the game. I liked the alpha better.
On ZMBEv1.1 the one hit kills were fine, totally even, now it's impossible to play. But they need to balance the Zombie classes, not the one hit kills.
Edit: And I find out they removed Backwoods. Okay, f*** this, I've never seen a game more ruined by one update. I don't think I'll be playing this game anymore.
Someone is angry, lol.
But the new update destroyed the game. By replacing the Armored Zombie with the Wobbler, they have rendered the game near impossible for surviors. Now, instead of using normals Zombies as infantry, Blobs as Covert, and Armored as Tanks, you now have no Covert, as no maps have the Blob spawn, and the Armors have been turned into Wobblers. Now, weakening the Armor seems like a good idea, right? But in addtion to making it weaker, they gave you the chance to spawn about 5 of them in 2 seconds, at half the strength of armors. Now, lets do the math. One entity made half weaker, times five of them at the same time. It's much harder for the Humans, as all the ZM has to do; Or rather, can do, is spam Regular Zombies and Wobblers. It's been horribly ruined by the update, and I hope I can find someone on the old Version.
I think what he means, is that ZombieMod doesn't really stand out compaired to Zombie Master and Zombie Panic!. The name sounds more like one of those mods made by a seven year old. For example, when this mod was announced, the name was so mediocre that I didn't even bother to look at it; If I hadn't clicked on this game accidentally, I still wouldn't know about it. You've got so much great content, and the mod is looking great, but ZombieMod just doesn't cut it for me.
So, l4d being a Source game has nothing to do with it?
Needs more Jeff Goldblum. Or, Dinosaurs that react to flashlights and flares would be nice.
This isn't a mod. And it came out ten years ago.
Ugh, syringes. Who wouldn't want to carry around a needle in their pocket, even when they found it lying around. Like, you couldn't get a health pack? Or will these give you s00per l33t sk11ls?
Why on earth would Valve sue? This is a fan made Mod for the Source engine, using the tools Valve provided. There have been several mods with names that parody Valve's games. I guess they sued those guys too, huh? And the makers of Black Mesa, A total recreation of Half-Life. Were they sued also?

Very interesting mapping style. Neat models too. If only I had bought the non-Source version of Half-Life, heh.
Wait a minute; I'm confused. At the top of the page, it reports that this will have Half-Life Source weapons. But all the screens show Half-Life 2 weapons.
Sorry if if I'm not grasping, my brain goes on the fritz on early mornings.
Looks neat, but the camera angle makes me a little queasy.
Um, I don't know what you're talking about, 300mb isn't that much for a game.
On the "Old version vs New version", I have to admit, I liked the old versions of everything better. The older versions were more open-ended, but now they look just closed up. Take the "Streets" screenshot for example, the old one is open, has a more natural green plant tone, and is clear, the new version is muddy, and looks more like a brown version of the Follow Freeman level in Half-Life 2.
Getting to the point, the before screens were something I've never seen in a Source mod. For the new screens, all I have to do is open any map in Half-Life 2 to find the same layout as the before mentioned. Source maps are very sensitive, a slight change such as adding rock, or a tree, will change the use of the map. Adding a few new buildings, or digging a ravine, or making a long hallway in a building, will change the "feel" of the map.
If I had never heard of this mod, and you posted only the new screens, if I had clicked on this mmod I wouldn't have watched it.
You don't need the full Orange Box, just Half-Life 2 Ep 2.
I don't have the Orange Box and it played fine for me.
This sounds an awful lot like the game WolfTeam.
Soldiers vs WereWolves, Axis fits in somewhere...
I guess the similarity's end there. Oh well.
Looks good. I'm a big fan of Zombie Panic, and this looks like a good twist on the Zombie Survival genre. Can't wait.
