I like the shopping interface; it reminds me of the 3D Legend of Zelda's shops.
The reactive AI sounds impressive. Are the aliens going to address the player character as a stranger or will they have their own name for the character?
Water was a great puzzle/adventure game and it looks like From Earth expands a lot on the possibility for interactive elements.

If the dungeons had Dutch camera angles that would be pretty awesome. A haunted ship could evoke that classic horror look.

A broken vending machine on its side? You could use that bottled water vending machine from HL2 and add some grime to its texture. If you add a light to it you could position it in a way so that it points the player towards the next destination (guiding a player through the level using light sources).

I like the minimalist style of the HUD. Will sound play when navigating the HUD or selecting items?
Also, will the crosshair be editable? Nothing flashy, just the ability to change the size and color.

Besides the kitchen, none of the other parts of the diner resemble L4D. It definitely looks like its own thing and I love the lighting overall. Is there going to be some clutter throughout the level to make it look a little more lived-in?

I really enjoyed the exploration in the game. I hope the focus doesn't shift primarily into combat like every other shooter, but when the player received a certain item late in the chapter I thought that there would be more combat in the next installment. I hope the mod is still more about exploration and puzzle solving.

This mod was amazing. It reminds me of Okami with Dreamfall puzzles. It's also great to see turn-based combat from a game that isn't a JRPG.
