Thanks for the update.
There is a mod here on moddb called Modified SSAO shader that i used to run on the older versions, don't know if it works with the new patch but it did make AO much more noticeable.

They don't work? That's kinda odd, i remember SSDO worked fine for me before but i just came back for 1.5.1 so i am not sure, i think they do work but its hard to tell in stalker since its a mild effect. Also no uploads from me :P

I like how you have explained your shader choices and haven't just piled a bunch of them on top of each other.
And i just finished making my own for personal use with RadiantGI as well, it makes quite the graphical impact when set up correctly. :)

Probably not a bug,they are just tough. The biggest problem for me is the player moves so slowly compared to the pseudogiant + they can climb stairs and the towers in army warehouses :D

I tried rpg-s,grenades, mines , AK, shotgun... didnt even bring it down into its crawl state, i ended up caving and spawning a gauss rifle, funnily enough i thought he wouldnt die from that either,but nope, died in 1 shot xD

If you killed someone in factions friendly with the ecologists ( i think its military) your reputation will go down with them, same thing goes for other faction relations, in my opinion, you should refrain from killing anyone ( you can kill bandits if you want ) Before you reach the bar and figure out which permit you would like to buy first,gl.

Is there a way to get more carry weight and faster sprint? right now anything above 30kg and i can only run for about 5-10 seconds with a merc suit and travel backpack

Yeah i think i just went deaf when the controller came near me it is literally the most ear bleeding controller sound i have ever heard , careful with them, unplug your headphones XD

Well the mod is kinda rough currently,i dont think rating it would be fair yet,that being said probably 7/8-10. If it ever gets bugfixes and balance tweaks it could probably be one of the best.

I suppose you are right about trying to make more money,the thing is, that already was all my money,i did quests in cordon,great swamp,garbage and bar and not even a shabby amount of them (im friendly with loners now) As for the brain scorcher i thought in this mod it was turned off from the start? I think to get better trader inventories you have to give a trader documents (you can find 2 in the main bandit base in garbage (the hangar) They are in the safe in one of the train cars, i used a hammer to break the safe) I dont know why the oxygen tanks are degrading so fast,i also have no idea how to get any tools since half the stashes i find are empty,and the other half contain garbage. If only i could get a scope for my aks74u so i could snipe the controller and zombies in army warehouses from one of the tall towers. Funny thing is,last time i was there there were only 3 dogs a few rats and a transparent moving anomaly thing that emitted screaming sounds,i dont know if it could damage me but i avoided it and walked out of the base after breaking all the boxes with about 6-8 army medkits and 10 energy drinks so it really is a good haul. I guess i will just try doing more random missions.

Can someone who has played further into the game help me figure out what to do next? I seem to be stuck in the Bar,i bought the gas tanks,the duty suit and an mp133,i also have an aks74u silenced and a pb silenced,with a decent amount of ammo for each,a regular gasmask and the combat knife (and obviously some misc stuff). Where do i go next? I visited the army warehouses but there is at least 5 snorks, 20 tushkanos a controller and a HUGE horde of zombies covering the entire place,i went into the Wild Territory as well with the oxygen container things on where my backpack should be,it was so hard to move since the containers weight 12 and only allow me to carry 15 but it was still leaking radiation and i was dying real fast as i tried to make it further in,watching the oxygen tanks degrade every few seconds just by standing there.. so that seems to be a no go. The vehicle graveyard is closed off by a gate as well,im stuck at the bar with 15000 rubles and nowhere to go,i suppose i could go back to garbage and try to make it into dark valley or maybe darkscape? I dont know if i wanna go to agroprom since i assume thats where the military is and i dont want to fight them so i could trade with them later. I have no idea what to do next and that is something that completely turns me off the experience,so simply,how do i progress further (unlock more stuff in trader inventories, go into other areas, and get better gear) Which map should i try to tackle?

Have you ever played vanilla? The same artifact can be found in the same place at the same start of the game,no one can prevent you from making too much money too fast.. only you yourself,as for the weapon repairing? well i remember doing the same in vanilla again. This is NOT a full scale large overhaul like Misery.. This is mostly Vanilla and thats how it is. :P

If you know how you could MAYBE add scope textures from somewhere else in to the proper path in the gamedata folder,i cannot guarantee that it will work but if it bothers you so much, dont be afraid to try and change it yourself ;)

Please check if your save folder exists, it should be in steamapps/common/stalker call of pripyat/abr/savedgames (or wherever you have your game installed).
If it does not exist try creating one (calling it savedgames)

Please be a little more specific. The game crashes when you try to save? Or nothing happens? Also a simple one but make sure you have enough space on your hard drive where the savefiles are located.

HAHAHAHAH... ok i am sorry but seriously man,you are asking how to get Call of Pripyat for FREE on a mod page for Call of Pripyat. If you own the retail version you can use the cdkey to get it on GoG as well probably... As for pirating... well that is your choice,if the mod does not work on the pirated version it is not our fault.

He is not really being defensive, and in my opinion its not negative feedback, i mean we are talking about an image,nothing vital to the actual mod. Right now we are trying to fix the MOD but we can't take everyone's requests and put them in..

Well the mutant parts arent really that expensive,the reason you pick up 4 boar hooves is so you dont waste what you just hunted,a hunter would not just chop off 1 deer leg and leave the carcass out in the forest,now i know the boars are not very rare but you can always just choose to drop the parts you dont need and imagine you left a dead boar on the side of the road with only 3 legs :D As for the FOV tweak.. well thats for the players to decide if they need it or not :)

I did the same things you wrote in the post but could not replicate a crash,both the SVU and SVD worked fine,SVD with silencer as well so thats weird o_O

IT should be done like this: Wipe out the lair then report back to beard,then try sleeping 24 hours,the quest should trigger then and tell you to ask beard about grouses location,then go to the dock cranes :P

Yes that is true but i never noticed my game use more than 4gb,with this mod it uses about 3gb constantly of RAM,just saying i have 16 so there is no confusion of someone thinking i might have only 4-6 and might be running out :)
