Hm... just curious: how would you envision the translated version? As a separate package (separate to download), or incorporated somehow into gamebase? Care to talk this over?

Hm... To what purpose? To get something like jagged alliance in the fantasy-caster theme?
Hm... Would you be so kind to test the fix? You would have to download the latest WG snapshot using the Musztardasarepska.pl link (and unpack&run the game manually).
interesting... care to share a screenshot/screencast illustrating the issue? Seems to me it might be a shader problem.
Weird. I assume other 3d games do work on your linux properly?
Can anything interesting be found in yours ~/.WarlocksGauntlet/std*.log files?
Hm... What if you run the game without bumblebee? Is the problem related only to running via NVidia card, or also when you run it as casual application (without optirun)?
The version published on Desura has no tutorial. Tutorial existed only for the early versions of WG - later it became obsolete and was removed from the game.
Weird. I remember once I had similar issue running this game on x64 image too - I think I've resolved it by removing openAl libraries included within this game package and using system ones instead. Maybe try to:
rm this_game_dir/libs32/libopenal.so.1
rm this_game_dir/libs64/libopenal.so.1
and run the game again? Maybe it's the same issue?
Yeah, this sucks. Personally when it happens to me I use "f11, god-mode" combination to avoid being killed. Sure it's cheating, but well... who cares? :)
I think I've fixed the issue - if you dare to test then you can use development snapshot:
Musztardasarepska.pl
Otherwise you would have to wait till we release next version on Desura.
Crap. :( I'll have to investigate the problem locally and see if I can fix it. Probably this won't happen until next release though (somewhere near Februrary/March).
I think you would have to:
* remove "bin/check_fullscreen*" files from your game directory (I'm not familiar with desura folder structure - anyway you should have somewhere below your 'desura' installation a folder named "warlocks-gauntlet/bin" where are the files you would need to delete)
* edit your ~/.WarlocksGauntlet/config.xml file and set up the desired resolution+fullscreen manually.
Sounds a bit too complicated IMO - I'm aware there are problems on Linux platform related to the screen(s) resolution detection. I'll try to fix a few of them in next version of the game. Sorry for inconveniences :(
Not without additional hacking in game files I worry. What platform are you playing on? Linux?
Wow! Our game is finally on Desura! Wow^2, Desura is available on linux! Awesome.
To whoever is adding reviews (in the "REVIEWS" tab): I really appreciate your feedback - the game itself is still being developed and your comments are really valuable in choosing what to improve and fix. Thanks!
Yes, there is, but it involves hacking your ~/.WarlocksGauntlet/config.xml file with some text editor. You need to set "fs" attribute there to 0. Chime in if you need further help.
BTW: what configuration are you running? Any idea why the game might fail to open in fullscreen mode on it?
