yes the release will definitely be a big update to the early access people. all the little fixes and especially the complete voice over will be in the release update pack! so it's good to wait if you could hold off for so long already :) play it in its full glory!

They were. But it was totally worth it. I just finished a first good mix of all the sounds, music and voice-over and I played the latest nightly build today to see how everything plays together. It's such a great atmosphere and the world came so much more alive with voice-over than it did before. It was a joy to play and had a great atmosphere. We can't wait to release Son of Nor once we finished all the final polishing tasks.
It was totally worth it! I hope we convince critics and that we make a decent amount of profit so we could fund our next game with equal high quality standards! Let's keep our fingers crossed :)
thanks :) yes, +/- a month until the game is done from our end. i don't know if it gets released by our distribution partner right away digitally or if they want to wait until they also produced the packaging and boxes. we will see. let's hope digital release is asap :) from our end it will be ready then. we keep you posted

No limit yet. Current limit are the areas where there actually IS sand. We'll test the update with players and see what they think. It might be OP and maybe we need to reduce it or make it harder. This was requested so many times that we just had to try. Let's see what comes of it :) Thanks for the comment, I'll have it mentioned in our daily meetings.

Yes, I think you hear the iterations here. The first example was actually the one that was produced last. We tried first to roughly think of how the character would be, trying different accents if they would fit. But then we realised it sounded very strange as the environment the scene plays in is very loud (very loud wind). So we changed the voice to fit the environment more. It sounds more natural. We're continue to develop it as our goal is to provide an external voice actor with a character description to work with. Describing something on paper is one thing but providing good voice samples I think is a good thing. We'll see :) We have no idea how work with voice actors is going to go down. It's all experimental.

Hehe, well we wanted to make this totally over the top :) After all, it's not that far fetched. Wasn't Dungeon Keeper for mobile by EA such a time drain? Several hours to cut out a small area and you had to pay to make it go away instantly? ^^ So we were not that far off.
