A drop of cute in a dark sea of horrors. :)

oh radu it's beautiful you're so adorable ohhh
I wouldn't call you intellgent either, becouse it is not a word.
Still, the main idea that makes Penumbra scary is the fact that you can only run and hide. I have had enough of these generic survival horrors where you run around with a shotgun, shooting that everything that moves and moans "Braaaaains.".
The poor Daniel of Amnesia is confused and doesn't know anything about anything, and let us also assume he's a wimp like Philip from Penumbra. He is not ready to fight back.
I don't think the genre can exist without monsters at all. Besides, Amnesia: TTD has a lot fewer monsters than most games belonging to the same genre.
I've seen this part, I can understand why some haven't, becouse it's one of the certain areas that you need to choose a certain path to get to.
I would really like a proper co-op of AoM DC. The Sven Co-op version isn't really that great without the new HUD and batteries and the weapons and all other custom things.
I also wish there would be some boss fights of some sort.
Finally we hear Simon's voice. Gotta say, Dragonnor, you're a very promising voice actor. Can't wait to hear you ingame.
Are you planning the maps to be linear, or are there multiple ways from point A to point B, and will there be backtracking?
And about the lightning in the maps, usually when it's foggy it's also atleast slighty dark, so I really would suggest you make it darker. (Judging by the screenshots.)
I hope you won't go too much SH with this. The story could be made a bit more unique (I.E name the character Jacobble, that's unique), and a bit better written, try to get the reader into the story.
Remember to make the characters deep and to have A DRAMATIC PLOT-TWIST in the end.
Incase there are no weapons, (I like that concept, have thought about it by myself too) you should make lots of neat puzzles. Remember not to sacrifice the gameplay to story/vice versa.
I'm gonna watch this mod and occasionally annoy you with silly comments like this.
Since you're doing this all by yourself, you're doing very admirable work. Good luck.
Very nice atmosphere you got there, but I'm afraid that with that level of light it's hard to keep the scary atmosphere.
Lol, who has bothered to rate down every comment on this page?
YOU CAN'T JUST HALT ROACH LIFE LIKE THAT YOU HEARTLESS BASTARD
Brings me back memories of the old AoM: DC forests. They were creepy.
This one looks creepier, though.
