We have looked into this and it seems the problem comes from Desura client not recognizing the .dll files as part of the necessary files for some reason. Installing the standalone version 1.2 and overwriting the files should fix the problem. Another option is to use "Verify installation and install missing files" option when patching the game through Desura client.
We tried to fix the bug during development, but unfortunately our team coders were unable to pinpoint it and they are now too busy with another project to make any system changes anymore. Sorry.

We would've loved to make the game bigger with more areas. As a matter of fact, we had great plans during development, but in the end, we ran out of time. I can't promise anything, but... Maybe Two Shields 2 will become reality one day.
