Michael Louie graduated from San Jose State University in 2009 with a degree in Graphic Design. In the summers leading up to his graduation, Michael was already working in the video game industry as a Quality Assurance Tester, for Electronic Arts. After college, Michael continued to work in the video game industry as a Quality Assurance Tester while looking for other work. Michael has worked on several triple-A-titles: Dead Space, Dead Space 2, and Tomb Raider, just to name a few.
While working on Tomb Raider, as a Quality Assurance Tester, Michael was able to get his first taste of video game development. The studio was understaffed and over-budget, so Michael was asked to do work creating map assets for the game. It was during this time, that Michael promised himself that he would strike out on his own to make his own game, and either find success or consider never working in the video game industry again.
