Under heaven and sky doeth one rule reign: all that is united will surely divide, and all that is divided will surely unite.
On 12 August 2015, a gigantic explosion shook Tianjin's Binhai district. So far there are 105 dead, over 700 wounded, and a further 95 people missing. The aftermath has left a giant crater in its wake, and toxic fumes leaking like wild.
Over 700 tonnes of cyanide have been found at the site, and not all of it has undergone combustion. That means that if rains, there could very well be another explosion, but even larger.
UPDATE: Thankfully, it seems that all toxins have been brought under control. All leakage appears to have been halted, and charges will be leveled against those implicit in the storage of the chemicals. It has been discovered that over 2500 tonnes of dangerous chemicals were stored in the facility, all of which appear to have undergone combustion.
Goddamn dats fkn huge, the number of casualties is baffeling oO
i cant remember an industrial site disaster that did that much damage in a while.
Not to mention the fish deaths en masse in the nearby river, probably because of the chemicals released.
Care for the human life lost.
The fish are expendable.
No life is expendable
