Btw, the legacy model looks 100 X better than the standard model. Thank you for including this.

Btw developers, you did an incredible job on the new update. The sound effects, the UI interface, the update skins, and many other things look incredible. You get a 10/10 from me on the quality here.
The first faction I played on the new update was the Romulans and I had a question concerning the Tal Shiar Command Center research under the Senate category. How do I gain access to this special operatives or command centers? I looked on my envoys and on my planetary construction options and there seemed to be no commander center option. Any idea on where I can access this feature?
keep up the good work fellas. Looks awesome. Can't wait to play with some of the big ships :D
Is this mod dead?
I wouldn't hold your breath. Dan and the devs there have lied to the playerbase so many times that it's difficult to trust anything they say to us. Pics or didn't happen is what I say. Don't get me wrong, I want to get excited, but it's not an easy thing to do after getting let down so many times with past seasons.
Meh. STO is crappy right now with how grindy it's become. Let's hope season 8 brings more content. Waiting for the next update of SOA hasn't been easy either.
When will the new patch be released?
Eagerly awaiting this next release. I hope it gets done by January :D. Also voted for your mod already for mod of the year.
Happy thanksgiving dev team. Hope the bug squashing is coming along nicely :D.
How's the progress coming towards the next release?
I was raging. My bad. Looks like the project is nearing completion based on the interview. Keep up the good work and good luck.
Omg, thank you for working on this mod! I am eager to play it and wouldn't mind beta testing it for you, if I can find the time. The screenshots look great! Keep up the good work!
(buried)
I give up on it, as well. I've been waiting on it since 2010 to no avail. They need to just lay this mod to rest and let it die.
I will be installing jedi academy just for this mod in September :D.
I'm going to have to check this out. Looks pretty cool.
True, he's being a nub when he whines about installing it, but it would be nice if the patches were merged into 3.0, so we wouldn't have to download 3 separate files. Although, I do recognize that the dev may have done it this way so that the files were easier to download as they are smaller and take less time.
Are you sure about that? For some reason, my third age mod isn't playing any music even though the in-game music is on. Also, the tips button doesn't work. Is this because I don't have medieval 2 (the original) installed?
I think it was only a level 3 or 4 cube, but the explosions resulting from their destruction are quite awesome.
I think there's actually a way to save screen shots within the game (a key you must press) that saves the screen shot to here:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\.
For these screenshots that I took a while back, I was actually using FRAPs to take them.
Good idea on checking the symbols. I just need to get used to the whole total war unit movement dynamics again since it´s been months since I´ve even touched Shogun 2. I´ll let you know how it goes once I´ve gotten used to it again. Also, you should really get to know the hot keys as they save you a lot of time when you just want to play out a battle without pausing so much.
I had some trouble with the walk/run command when I pressed R on my archers. I disabled skirmish mode because the enemy was rushing me and I wanted to cover my left and right flank of two groups of my archers by pressing up with the archer groups in the back. The run command seemed to be glitched because rear archers took too long to run up to the position I instructed them to move to. Then, when I told them to attack the enemy, they kept walking towards them instead of attacking them. It was pretty weird. The AI commands just didn´t seem as responsive as they were in Shogun 2 for me. I do recall my troops listening to me better in shogun 2 even when I used low ranking generals.
The third age mod looks great in terms of unit, building, and interface aesthetics. What I'm having a hard time dealing with is the AI, especially after playing Total War: Shogun 2's campaign. Shogun 2's AI is much more responsive and the enemies seem more challenging. I played a little while the other day as the wood elves, but they took so long to respond to my commands that I rage quit. In fact, sometimes my light archers and infantry didn't even respond to my commands. I guess I'll have to be patient and wait for a medieval III or Rome II version of the third age.
Does anybody know if this has something to do with the lower reputation of my general? Are my troops less likely to charge into battle under a general that commands less respect of it's troops than, say, a higher level general?
What's happening with ze mod? Are you dudeasauruses updating it?
I still couldn't get the mod to work. I'm not even sure into what folder I'm supposed to be installing it to. I tried installing it into the mods folder for Med Total War II in my steam folder. It then showed up in the list of available mods when I started up Kingdoms from steam, but right after I opened it, I always encountered an error.
Has anybody installed the beta into the medieval steam folder? I can't get it to work.
These are thrall. They are supposed to be slow and lumbering. However, they are cheap to build, so you can mass produce them. Then, if you set them up right, you can wreak havoc on somebody with superior troops just because you outnumber them 5 to 1.
Lol, I remember those epic moments in myth 2 multiplayer where all it came down to between two teams was the archers versus the ghols. You'd see maybe 6 archers left against 3 ghols, and then the the last few archers might barely be able to kill the last ghol with their pathetic dagger attack. Oh, man. I miss those times!
Journeymen were such cheapo units b/c they could kill thralls by healing them. Nice job on them :D
Looks like a warlock is having a little bit of fun.
Those are very cool looking forest giants. Time to slap the thrall to death :D
