One thing I wanted to talk about is that the Chaingun doesn't fire the same rate as the original D64 and D64EX Chaingun. Same for the Plasma Gun. Not something to stress about but it was apparent to me for a while.

I absolutely LOVE this! It feels more like a remake for Doom 64 instead of a mod similar to Doom 64 EX despite this mod not being meant as 100% accurate, I still think it lands very close to a bulls eye. All of the awesome and at least in my opinion, best designed maps in the series from the original 1997 title are skillfully re-renditioned 20 years later! All and all, I would say it is definitely a worthy mod for Doom 64 fanatics like myself to give it a shot.

What I'm trying to say is for the most part, I think it is fun to a degree with all these wacky over the top enemies, though I was mainly hoping for only the enemies absent from Doom 64 to be included. (Heavy Weapon Dude, Revenant, Arch-Vile, Spider Mastermind and the Scrapped Hell Hound and female demon enemies.) All and all, the sprite work despite most of the enemies being copied from the base enemies are actually quite impressive.

Hey there, I got a quick question to ask. For Version 1.5, how do I fix the bug where enemies like the Nightmare Imp and Cyberdemon shoot projectiles upwards? Because I really want to play redemption denied's levels without this issue.

Hi Sarge, I am new to Mod.DB and am wondering about any follow ups for Brutal Doom 64. Not that I want to rush you because making mods on a massive scale is a lot of tough work. Though, I wanted to ask you, have you ever played "Doom 64 Retribution"? Because I was thinking as an idea for you that you could add the Absolution, Outcast and Redemption Denied levels, as well as a Fun Map selection hub like in D64RT. By the way, they are all levels that are fun, challenging and complex.
