how about some continusly flowing streams which would start at one side go to the other but wouldn,t flood the map they could also make it evaporate slowly and add waterwheels which generate power and other water involving things

how about aprentices which is a way to get someone up to the same level as another without all the bad stuff it would work like for every level difference it takes 1% longer

heres an idea add things from real life into the game like crop rotation guessing a crop takes 4 hours to grow then apply crop rotation it only takes 3 hours then you could add irigation which on it own would remove an hour from its growth time however when both together without the proper modification to the garden instead of reducing it by two hours it would only reduce it by 80 minutes or an hour 20 mins also land purchase which would require travel stations which are placed at the borders and provide light you would only be able to travel somewhere on two occasions you own it or are invading itland would cost more worth or less depending on certain things like is the difficulty easy normal hard peaceful the safer condition would make it more valuable also the more ore level the higher the price also add fertility high fertility causes the crops to grow faster low the opposite also with travel you would have to create a source of transportation like the yaks emus alpacas also certain animals are faster while others will tolerate more weight you could also sell the land once you have used up all its resources also beaches just to make it nice and why not add mugs which could be made from wood glass or any resource it accepts which would be required to make wine\beer or any beverage however you get the mug back afterwards and why not coffee

know what would be nice more crops like one that needs to be submerged in 1 percent water so there could be a structure that lets 2 percent and up water pass it but not 1 percent water so crops like that would make it interesting as well as there would be special monster areas which would have higher resource levels however the game mods need to be modified as in there would then be 3 modes as in a new one called supernatural or something this would then be the only one where monsters spawn normal would mean only animals that can cause small problems for your gnomes would spawn and in peaceful nothing that harms your gnomes would spawn

know what would be good for all of the well players who prefer to get their kingdom up but they forget about protecting their gnomes need a source of purchasable defence like mercenaries also shouldn't the enemies apear from the borders

well depending on the size it would be more dificult for large areas and easier for small areas
