Huh? this is not a webplayer version.
Thanks for the feedback.
To drag the full stack click and hold a stack, we may change this to use the other mouse buttons.
As for the reduction in quick slots, I hear you. Though this is not that easy to fix. We moved them to the bottom because the corner was very akward to access, particularly in mobile. But then we don't really have that much space there. We will try to think of something here.
I understand that when we do changes like these, some people won't like it. We are creatures of habits and we hate change. You already went through the learning curve of the old interface, and for you to have to relearn it is not fun. We completely get this.
That said, the previous interface tested to be awful for new users. People kept asking "how do I split?" and people often gave up on the game out of frustration trying to figure out the game. The new interface has proven to be much easier for new users. This is something we tested, not an opinion.
Please take a look at the old interface and new interface side to side:
Blockstory.net
You can see how messy, cluttered and just generally bad the previous interface was.
So I ask you guys to kindly give the new interface a chance.
sorry about that ykola, please bare with us, we are very close now to the massive update and this is one of the fixes in there
I understand you prefer the games manged by desura client. I asked desura for help and they pointed me to this thread:
Try clearing the Desura cache, I am as frustrated as you by the fact that some people have this issue.
Else, get the standalone version
Thanks for the feedback, we will take it into account.
There is lots of info in the web site:
Blockstory.net
and you can ask fans there in the chat window.
Thank you for your feedback Johnnyjsj
Some of the things you point out are being addressed. We are working on making an MMO with this technology, wich will feature characters that will match the terrain better. So right there we address multiplayer and the theme problem you are pointing out.
I understand many people don't like MMO, but there are lots of people that do and it will be a key differentiator from other games in this genre. With the MMO we will break new ground and that is something we are striving for. If you read "the origins of block story", you will see that has been the vision all along.
That said, I do plan to address private multiplayer. A user will be able to rent a server and invite his friends. I know this is not exactly the same as local multiplayer, but it addresses a lot of the same needs while eliminating the piracy problem we are having with block story.
Will do. But right now I am a bit busy at E3
the update is there if you have the desura client. I submitted the standalone, so it should be live at any time now.
I just submitted the update, Desura is usually very quick. Enjoy
Blockstory.net has links to all the music. Enjoy
Thank you for the feedback. I am aware of this issue, and will get it resolved soon.
We are working through some issues,
We are working on a major feature that has us in a time crunch at the moment.
Meatspace sometimes gets in the way.
Sorry for the delay.
Hey guys, Just to let you know what is coming.
* In the next update there will be pets (dragon, spider, cat, dog and alien dog),
Youtube.com
* Creatures will fight each other:
Youtube.com
* there will be a tool for mass building, great for those of you that like to build stuff:
Youtube.com
* Many more arrow types including a super cool TNT arrow
Welcome back, we missed you :)
lots of new things for you to see: teleporters, jetpack, diver suit, atlantis, acid, tnt, springs, radars, make colored glass, colored candles.
Not really Quinn13, Infinite up and down and colored lights are impossible to add with mods, they require a rewrite of the voxel engine and light engine. Also the fact that we get 10 times the framerate. It is impossible to have compatibility between mobile and desktop with mods either.
Sure, some of the other stuff could be added with mods. With some mods you could turn minecraft into an RPG. Does that mean that there is no point in making any other RPG?
There are texture packs in the site, horses to ride are coming.
you lose experience when you die. It is very hard to level up if you die all the time.
For better water, turn on fog in the graphics settings, we don't do it by default because it affects performance on some devices.
Thanks for the feedback.
If you make 10 swords at a time that last 1 hit, it is the exact same thing as 1 sword that lasts 10 hits. The only difference is that this way you know exactly how long they last.
If I simply changed how I display the weapon duration and just divide the current number by 10 it would be what you are asking for yet not change gameplay in any way.
yes, just wait a couple days, for now only the desura client version is available, I have submitted the standalone version and it is pending approval.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I have not played vox, but I can tell you some of the things we have that minecraft doesn't:
* Infinite up and down
* Colored lights and glass
* Quests
* Leveling up with skill points
* Vehicles like car, jetpack, diver suit
* Radar
* Teleporters
* 90+ mobs, including dragons, megalodons, trex and many others
* Very fast, framerate is about 10x
* Normal mapping and specular lightning
* Atlantis
* World up in the sky
* Full compatible with the mobile version, copy your worlds over from your pc to your phone and back
* Mana
* Flying
* spells you cast on monsters
* Guns
yes, there is mining and ores, lots of them, some in the sky world, some in hell, some in the ground.
The rpg elements are: quests, leveling up, experience, armor with stats, skill points
For crafting, use the 3 buttons for the mouse, to split stacks in half and
Brandon, I would like nothing more, but getting greenlit is very hard. You are more than welcome to vote for it in greenlight.
down in hell, you need to go down about 350 blocks, in the way you will find some underground ruins, just keep going down.
