I've been playing Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon because why the **** not, so... this should be interesting seeing as I already know what kinda crazy **** to expect.

Edit: I can actually see that genre working for BTS-X for all its bright coloured lights in an otherwise dark atmosphere, much like how FC3BD does it. Mainly thinking BTS-X E2 though, the first one's a little brighter to me.

Just like "brutalteam_metal.wad." The music in that pack doesn't even fit how Doom should feel. I know it ain't this pack, but these kind are one in the same; ****.

I know, I'm always late to the party, but **** it, I'm here anyway! Here to make a point. What is it? Well, some of us less fortunate ones, such as me, don't have much in the ways of disposable income and can't afford a super shiny, new PC that can run Doom 4. And y'know, I love Doom. Have done for years. So what is an avid gamer gonna do when they can't get that new game they want? Find the best alternative of course. And to me, that's exactly what D4D is; the best alternative. Sure having D4D64 doesn't actually need to be a thing, but it is. It's fun and it's there for those who want it, like you said.

That's what I thought about the original. I haven't played 24c or 22g, but I don't really have any reason to. It's a good effort, but it really isn't that fun.

Hey mate, it's okay. Do what ya' gotta do. Seriously, I do like the idea of this mod and I do hope to see it in future as a nicely finished product. It is a little sad to see you need to take such a huge leap back, but that's it. I don't hate you for doing what's right, just as anybody else should. No crucifixions or pitchfork wielding mobs necessary. In any case, keep on going and don't let anyone drag you down. That said, please calm it with the dramatics.

Just play it though Zandronum. Using Doomseeker you can just run the usual Linux Zan binaries. Probably won't affect anything, but I would think you'd get a few more frames per second outta it 'cause it's not running through another program.

Well, looks like it could be cool. Although, I'm wondering, is it planned to work without 3D models?

I must say, it looks mighty impressive from the screenshot given, but I'm not too keen on the file size. My internet speeds don't either. Might I ask why it's 250 MB for some fancy skies?

That is actually a point I didn't include because of its seemingly controversial nature. Intellectual properties by law are allowed to be protected like that. As far as I know, that's it. So what the companies can do with this power is entirely up to them.

I mean, at least there's Pixel Dungeon and it's many modifications up on Android. It's actually quite good. Or, another favourite Android RL of mine, Caves.

Alright, here's my take the situation at hand. You all made valid points, but let's get real here. Bigwig companies are a corrupt power; no matter how pure they seem, there is always some kinda corruption at the core. Sometimes it shows; look at Microsoft. Sometimes, it doesn't unless you look at them with a toothpick; Gearbox for example.

That said, we all gotta keep our own demons inside here (or just blast 'em with the good old super shottie :D). Just because these companies did us wrong doesn't mean we need to be just as wicked. Yes, they can beat us into the ground, but rise up again. Just do that. There is no need for anything else. I know I'm just another voice on the internet and I know I am not a paragon of virtue, but hear me out; stay calm. put the pitchforks away. As we can see here, this is not the end of Chaosforge, but they are just picking up the pieces of what they had and are moving on.

Final word: You don't have to hate a game because you hate the company. You know who you are.

I know I am. Damn, GBA Doom 1's music was shite, but it was classically shite. Nostalgia is a bitch sometimes. :D

That's reminds me of something I wished was in Project Brutality; dual wield pistols /or/ ADS and the silenced mode. Of course, that would require a 4th firing mode button in PB. To be honest, I personally prefer dual wield. (Especially with the bloody Rage sphere! Reload fast as ****! (No Keem intended. :v))

ADS is shorthand for Aim Down Sights. Y'know, looking through a scope and such other similar things on guns.

I got some experience making my own HD wallpapers. Don't know if you guys want my **** here though. I mean, I make HD wallpapers, so that's the criteria met, I guess. :v

Well, after rebooting my PC to use it today, the issue seems to have fixed itself. No need to worry. Still, I suspect it was some rendering issue in Firefox itself.
