Version 3.38 [17.02.2024]
1) Shotgun, Supershotgun: removed Distance deprecated functions warning, reported by JMartinez long ago (not visible in game);
2) HeadshotZ: replaced DECORATE-based LEGshot system by the same HeadshotZ in Zscript. This is a special case only for Zombies, Sergeants and Imp where you can blow their legs off with a specific animation: Aim for the legs (< 30% monster height) to get the Leg and animation damage;
3) «Vivisection» menu fix: do not force Full menu, because it can hide other addon menu entries making them innacessible. «Vivisection» now just open "normal" Option menu instead;
4) Add Slaughter Map Performance Booster (by Rachael Alexanderson) with customizatons for Brutal Doom: Black Edition to «Black Tractate - Black Edition Options». This is either for gigantic maps with lots of monsters, or people with weak computers, or both.
When activated, the farthest monsters are "slowed" down. It is disabled by default (enable / disable setting is not saved) and you can activate it and change specific settings anytime if needed. (those settings are saved);
5) Added Rachael Alexanderson to Credits for Slaugtermap Booster;
6) In «Black Tractate - Black Editions options»: replaced «Graphics Effects Options» and «Performance Options» by «Graphic Effects Options» + «Sound Effects Options» and put all existing options under those 2 categories, because:
- There are too many options spread out, and
- Performance Options were not really performance options anyway;
7) Renamed and changed logic «Disable Blood dripping on screen on Low HP» into «Blood dripping on screen on Low HP» and moved it to «Graphics Effects Options»;
8) «Blood dripping on screen on Low HP» fix : Setting can be changed anytime now, instead of changing only at level start;
9) DarkDoomZ fix: Setting set to «Disabled» were still changing some sector brightness, fixed now;
10) Added reverberation sound effect. LiveReberbZ: Added to «Black Tractate - Black Edition Options - Sound Effects Options», add Reverb effects according to Player location. Ported from ACS version by Sunbeam. You can activate it and change settings anytime. (all settings are saved, default - all activated).A long-awaited and very important sound effect for BD BE. Now the game will become even more atmospheric;
11) Added Sunbeam to Credits for LiveReverb;
12) More little cleanups (not visible in game);
13) This is still compatible to GZDoom v4.8+, however it breaks savegame compatibility;
14) Changed BE version to 3.38.

This item is used in special game mode "Desperate" (Main menu - FATUM - Desperate).

You need collect 25 souls (or less - depends on Soul Cube level upgrade). After that you can use secondary attack.

Nope. Use secondary fire mode - deals huge damage.

BFG9000 kills every monsters, besides Spider Mastermind and Cyberdemon.

BDBE not suitable with some wads/levels. Yeah.
But I passed this level. You need to avoid the barons.

For such impassable places exist special game mode - Unbreakable (Main menu - Fatum options - Unbreakable Yes). This game mode increases player's defense against enemy attacks and environments in game. You can use it any time.

I not tested on delta touch. But you must load BDv3.37.pk3 after gzdoom.exe. Or just drag and drop mod file on gzdoom exe.

Well, if I see cacodemons i try hide from them, to make them fly closer to me. Most often it helps. Also when you have berserker effect - you can use pistol fast shot - press separate button "melee attack". Useful against imps on ceilings.

Oh. So that's the problem. You want more armor amount. More than 400%. And when you have armor is more than 400%, you see some problems with movements. Well, we haven't tested movements with 400%+ armor amount. Maybe the player is really becoming more constrained.
But until 400% movements it's fine.
Maybe you haven't noticed, but in BDBE strafe movements made in a special way: the player is not so mobile when evade in the sides like in vanilla or another Brutal mods. These are attempts to simulate a more realistic movement. It will be difficult for armed marine with full ammunition to quickly dodge to the side, especially if he is running. Therefore, the best way to dodge projectiles in BDBE is to run a little diagonally. I understand that sometimes it just makes game more difficult. Especially I hate Revenant's missile, my persoanl butthurt dammit :)
But what's done is done. "Endurance", "Stabilizer" and "Unstoppable" game modes they improves player's movements in BDBE, but compared to classic movement, it's still a compromise.

Well, try edit files. Maybe because of this you have such problems?
There are two points here:
1) You want classic/vanilla movements of player. But no. They are similar, but not the same. When you have 400% you can see classic movement behavior: you fast press button W,S,D,A and you can see how player continues to move slightly. It's like vanilla.
2) You change something and now you have some problems with movements.
