Im currently not working on any specific game, although i would love to be. These are small tests i did while having short bursts of free-time.
School is taking up all of my free time :(
I used blender for 1 year before playing with the BGE and before that I went around the place and tried (~crash+burned at) almost every other free/trial 3D Engine.
Neoaxis, Unity, UDK, Panda3D, Leadwerks, C4 and even Ogre. To be honest i didnt do much with either one, except getting to know their editors if they had any real well, finding out what programming/scripting language the engine used and seeing how i can get my stuff from blender exported over to their technology.
I didnt know how to program at all, so although i did practically nothing in either of the engines i tried, they still provided me with certain type of 'experience'.
Then when i found out about blender's game engine and the logic blocks, i realized that i can make a relatively complex / above simple game without having to write a line of python. And suddenly found myself experimenting.

It took me a month of experimenting with the bge to be able to come up with this kind of stuff.

This sounds like you worked really hard to achieve everything you now know:)
Practice is everything...I am not programming(really)cuz I am just reconfiguring someones scripts for unity :D
But I make progress every day...the same is for 3ds max...Practice is needed to learn everything...this is like math :) If you write your homework you will know that at school at test :P
