On my looking for options I found this article, very helpful, to expose a compare from fresh rendering systems: Canvas 2D (HTML5 standard), WebGL (HTML5 draft) and conventional render on DirectX.This enforces my decision to select a regular render to my projects, like OGRE and Google Native Client.
