I really like how you have done the trees! Nice style and animation.
Really really nice! I love 2.5D platformers.
Great post! Nice to see another Reloaded user here. I'm currently learning about the Unreal Engine 4. You might want to have a look at it; it's very impressive.
Also, you are a very impressive architectural modeller. I look forward to seeing what you do next!
That is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen!!! A bazillion internet points for Rachel. So awesome!
Looks really good! You should consider releasing/selling the editor as well. Looks like people would have a lot of fun modding the game. =)
This is awesome! You sure have been working hard. I'm going to download it and give it a try right away. Thanks for putting so much effort into this. =)
Why haven't I seen this game before! Tracking!
The passion you have for your game - story, world, art, all of it - is wonderful. Like I've said once before, from the looks of the art and ideas you've previously shown - I can easily see this game getting a serious publisher as you make more progress.
Awesome animations! Love the death animation. LOL
Very impressive artwork. I love the sense of atmosphere the art provides. Quite serene and peaceful.
Yay! Good to see you again! I was thinking about Drake the other day and was wondering what you might be doing. Good to see Drake is still alive! =)
Looking forward to the inclusion of other genres - especially platformers. ;)
Pretty cool looking water engine by the looks of things too!
Sounds great! I have this on my watch list so I look forward to seeing how this progresses. It's great to see this kind of software being made to help non-programmers such as myself get our ideas out of our heads and into reality.
This look very interesting! I will have to download it and investigate! One question, does it just make shooter games or can it be used to make platform games as well? It looks like you've put a lot of hard work into this; I'm excited to give it a try.
Don't let the haters get you down. Make the game what YOU would want to play first and foremost. If you are happy with your progress and what you are doing then that is all that matters. If the game is good enough (and even at this early stage it looks like it will be!) then others will want to play it as well.
People who complain that this is just a Terraria clone are probably COD kids who don't realise that they are actually just playing a prettier version of Wolfenstein3D. =/
Have to say, I'm loving the interface! Compact yet easily and handily expandable. I wish more games had an interface like that.
I like the annotated version. The sleep idea sounds interesting. You could also provide ways to extending the period you go without sleep, like say if the player can make and drink coffee, or eat certain types of food, or even just the good old "magic potion" method.
Also maybe the possibility of at certain levels of "insanity" the world the player sees goes through different stages of looking different.
Just throwing some ideas out there. =)
Your pixel-art is really really beautiful!
I liked the old trees and clouds, but like the new pixel-art characters. The game still looks great though, regardless of the style you choose.
Looking forward to seeing your website when it goes live!
I haven't commented until now, but I've been watching Samphi since the beginning. I love seeing how you're progressing and evolving over time. It's inspirational; keep up the good work friend!
YES! I am so glad to see you back! I had been worried several times that something might have gone wrong and work on Drake had ceased. Keep up the great work, and thank you for the update.
Very atmospheric sketches! Thank you for sharing them with us. The 'mood' of the landscapes are great!
I've said it once and I'll say it again; you have an amazing and very special imagination. You also have the gift of very good artistic talent to back up that imagination and bring your ideas to life. I am humbled and just a little jealous. =)
Also, I can see you getting snapped up by a big-name game studio before long. Keep those imaginative fires burning!
Your imagination is incredible! You somewhat remind me of Tolkien with the amount of minute detail you have created in your game world.
Have a happy Christmas and an awesome new year!
I like style B - it seems to have more detail.
Keep up the incredible work. You have worked so hard on every little detail of your game. I'm loving the stories and histories you have created in your world. You are an amazing artist! Every time I see that you have posted an update I get excited to see what you might be showing us!
I love seeing how this game is progressing. Starting with reasonably simple graphics and gameplay to how it is now. I can tell it will only get better and better with time. Also I'm finding watching your progress is inspiring my own efforts with Construct 2.
You deserve to have more watchers. Keep up the great work!
I really like this! The sounds are great! I loved the atmosphere the sounds engendered at the end, when you were just resting at the fire by the beach. Awesome. Keep up the good work! The graphics are lovely too by the way, and very nice use of lighting. I like how the sun can be partially seen as it passes behind a tree.
Am loving the boomerang weapons! More games should have boomerangs (I used to love the "Ty the Tasmanian Tiger" games). I also love the torch; the fact that even the particle effects are comprised of voxels is awesome, and looks really good. Which makes me wonder, what if you had some kind of enchantment system for weapons, and depending on the enchantment it would produce different visual effects on the weapon?
Am very excited about the mention of next week! Where's Doctor Who when you need him!? I need to go forward one week NOW! =)
