No, it's the closest recreation of Action Half-life that you can experience in the Source Engine.

The continuation of the Action saga. It started out as AHL2 during the Annual Green House Lan Party in the Netherlands. In 3 days they built the base of AHL2 and it was handing off to other devs. This version is being developed by diehard Action players that started their gaming with AQ2 and AHL. With added new features.
We are aiming to get the original feel of AHL, with the lastest coding we are getting close. Granted it can never be the same since AHL used HL and the skill is not the same. I remade the map ahl_rooftops with the larger scale and the feedback as been 100% approved. Some of the old maps play well with a correct scale, but then some of the maps don't.
It's a revamp of AHl2 with old skool action players as the devs. We are overhauling the whole game from maps, graphics, game play etc.
To add on this, for Greenlight, a couple of things are going to change in the Airport map to be more about Action History and less about outdated pop culture. Permission was granted by other artists as long as money was not exchanged.
As for content: We have a couple more maps that are not shown here.
I also agree that it should be placed on Greenlight as DAB was.
Remaking the single player has always been something that Tontoe and I have wanted to do.
Bugs has be fixed and submitted to ahl2v3 and accepted. Long live ahl2!!
Did you install the sdk 2007 in the tools section of steam?
I think the problem I had with the kick starter thing is that Vino never once acknowleged Action Half-life or The Opera. Shame on him to say he got the idea of from John Woo movies when in fact it was from Action Half-life and the Opera. They were the mods that came up with the idea of movie realism not Vino, not The Specialists. The Opera came up with the idea of points for style. Not Vino. The only thing that the TS Mod brought to gaming was bullet time in muiltipler, it was already done in single player in the Action Half-life mod under Arenaline Rush.
APB Vendetta which is the same type of game as Double Action gave credit to Action Half-life, The Opera and even The Specialists.
See video here Kickstarter.com
This is gaming mod heritage, we can't let this knowledge drift to the way side to let some teenager say that (for example) The Specialist invented movie realism when this was actually invented years ago.
It's located here. Steamcommunity.com
wow really nice Community you got there. I came on as a noob and they helped me learn the game.
Hai Noon was originally developed for a map that the mapper Banana was doing. He was not able to complete the map and it was asked to be included into a map that I just completed called AHL_Unforgiven. I accepted and ended up also developing the map for the mod Outlaws by request from the Outlaws team.
Decided to upload some pictures of the maps I did for Action Half-Life.
nice it's fixed. More tracks coming!!
Very nice video to see the track and awesome time. Youtube.com
recently found my archives of Motocross madness 2. Uploading to the moddb when I get the chance. I'm love national tracks so I'll upload them first. I also have to figure out which tracks require the special texture pack. I'll upload the ones that don't first. I hope you all enjoy. It's a great game.
is the video broke?
You might want to download the Gunman Chronicles Won to Steam patch that integrates the demo into the game. You can find it and the list of patch features here.
I kind of liked that. I got that weird isolation feeling that I got when I played the Penumbra series.
It feels more actiony then FoF. I'd like to see akimo pistols and being able to fire the sawedoff shotgun with both barrels. It has a lot of potential of being an action mod.
click on the red download now button then pick which mirror you want to download from.
You have mapping mistakes all over the map. You can see the seams where brushes come together, you have overlapping brushes which gives you the flickering textures, you have light burns on the wall with no visible light source. The walls in the front of the building are too thin, they are same width as the sliding glass doors, so I can still see the doors in the walls. The water out front is not correctly done, I can see through the map to the bottom of the skybox when I look down while standing in the water.
Sorry. I added the name of the game. There used to be game icons in the earlier version of addons.
Just like Milkman, Illimky has come a lot way from the days of AHL. He's done a very nice job.
that was actually pretty fun.
Just finished. Had a blast playing it. Nicely done.

I was a mapper back in the glory days of Action Half-Life. I've kind of slowed down in that department, but still get an urge to map once in a while. Currently working on a map for Action Half-Life 2.
