unrar the file with Winrar software on your desktop (Winrar is a good and free programm to uncompress all compressed files formats that should be in any PC), then open the new folder created on yur desktop and copy the Spitfire folder in your mod folder (inside the MewAS2 game folder)/ Now, if you open the game, go to options, mod, and install it. Then you should see the Spitfire mission in the skirmish mission menu of the game ;)
I think it should be ok for MowAS1 (same structure file, except the shadows line in .def files) but i have only MowAs2 so I can't test it.. Try it and tell me! ;)
i'm working on a V2 version, to add a tropical filter for the Spitfire, which will be selectable in the Gem2 editor menu as a "detail" (for desert operations missions ;)

You are right, i've changed some parts names, to be conform with the game specifications.. ;)
Few years ago, I decided to train with 3DSmax to make new planes to replace some of the original game (like stuka and Me109, which are not very good models).
At the begining, my first planes weren't flyable (were static objects for the map of mission creators).
Now i've more skills and I made this little FW190 flyable, of course in the limits of the old Mow game engine, which I admit was not really made for that..
This Fw19 can be use as German reinforcements in a skirmish mission for example. Every mission creator can use it, the only condition is to mention my name "bassmaniac" as author ;)
The next ones will be in the order:
- B17 bomber (to have a heavy bomber on the allies side): I've already began the 3D and I hope to finish in September because it's harder to make than a fighter)
Then i will make 2 fighter Spitfire (UK) and the LA7 (Russian) ;)
Thanks but the skins are not my own work: I will adapt at least 10 skins made by various great skinners for this little plane ;)
Not Lucky: I pay each month my bank for it but i've no regret.. it's a great motorbike ;) (Honda CB1000R with custom parts, the engine is modified for race)
You're right! ;) I love also the Me410, but as my main goal is to make one fighter, one light bomber and one heavy bomber for each country of the game, i must follow the priorities.. It's already a lot of work alone so maybe later..

Today, i've done the first test to export my plane in MowAS.. (I've modified the swastikas in the pics because it's verboten on Moddb because of the laws of some countries, but the skins will have it in game)
My 3D model is near to be finish on 3DSmax: It need only few adjustments (cockpit transparency, support of cable on the rudder, black wheels, bomb support..) but all the volumes and dummies needed had been already made, and now i've to make it's animations and effects for the game (bomb dropping, mgun, smokes), and do some tests..
This little beast will come with various skins made by great pro skiners for IL2 (all theaters: Europe, Russia winter & summer, Desert) and a hard job have been done with the unwraping to adapt theses fine skins for my model.
I hope to deliver this Focke-Wulf Fw190A6 as a mod to be flyable in MowAS2 missions for end of June.. ;)

I've to say i've made only the 3D model with 3DSmax (it's a brand new one, my first version was lost in a crash disk drive) and i did a big work to unwrap my model to be able to use all theses great skins that have been made by great skinners for the IL2 game.

This little trailer is the US one (existing in the game), with a nex texture i've made to use it for luftwaffe / Afrika Korps.
I'm moddeling again and i'm testing the new MDL export plugin (a Russian version) for 3DSmax for the first time..
I've just made this little FW190 with various skins but it need more work (animations and working on script for bombing and mguns). I hope to finish this little beast for the end of june (It will be flyable and usable for Mow, MowAS1 and 2).
My next project will be the B17 Bomber, and I hope to finish it for end of August, so there will be one big bomber (with the He111) for each side.. Hehe ;)

Maybe I put too much objects on this huge map for the poor game engine..
It was limit but ok with MowAS1 but now i'm really fed up with MowAS2 (too many crashes and problems, even with corrective patches)
Hello! The sounds issue of this mod (unexpected token/ edevice soundchannel.cpp,281) is due to your version of the game, which is cracked or not upgraded to the last version: Since 2 last patches, there is now a file "folder.set" which is not compatible with old versions of MowAS2. If you have problems with sounds, simply delete this file (mod/Tessel/sound/folder.set)
Seems there is some sound card which have saturation problems. I never had such error with my Creative X-FI sound card.. I'm sorry for that bug. If you have sound problems with this mission, try to delete the folder :C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\mods\Tessel\resource\sound\human\talk maybe it can help you to play normally..
There is a lot of new voices and sounds in this mission. Maybe your PC have a low soundcard. If you have problems with it, try to delete the folder :C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\mods\Tessel\resource\sound\human\talk maybe it can help you to play normally..
I only use AI game units, but it's the best ones, so no, the Germans are not underpowered, if you use the SS ones.. The churchills seams very hard to kill (a 88can't kill them), but it's their normal params in game, so you must use your AT grenade on the area of the engine if you want to kill them, its the only way ;)
