Thanks :)
We're planning on setting up all the real physics in Alpha 6 :)
Thanks :)

Hmmmm.... It would appear so... I was sure Leon couldn't get this up... But yeah, I guess we are :D
Pressing Esc will take you to a puase menu now, where there is a "Save and Exit" option
Oh, We're thinking of putting in lighting and day/night cycles in Alpha 7 or so, and we've been thinking about weather or not to make actual cloud blocks, or just a backdrop. We may have to take the storyline into account aswell ,when we decide on that.
I'm reminded of Diablo (from Diablo 2, that is)
Well, the background for the title is actually a fully generated world itself, and when you click "New World" it will actually just use that world. Although, later we may implement some kind of fully moving action scene, where the character actually runs around and does stuff, while you're in the menu. But for now, He just looks in the direction of the mouse :)
dude. this never ceases to get better. WHEN/WHERE CAN I PLAY THIS!?!?!?
ok. Leon was going to do it. but I'm not sure when. Alpha 5 is definitely coming this week in the weekly update. I will definitely make a video for Alpha 5 to go with it. I'll do it myself.
Sorry about the delay :0 things have been getting rather crazy recently. But there WILL be a video on wednesday. That's 4 days from now.
This looks amazing man! I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us, but of course, I want to play it!!!
Seriously man, Awesome job.
Hard to say, probably when Leon makes it :)
not meant to happen... shouldn't happen... yet happens anyway... I'll check it out
ok guys, I'll get on to the videos. I'll throw them up within the week, when i have time. I'll do videos for all the versions currently available (Alphas 1,2,and 3). I'll put them up some time soon :)
Actually, no, it isn't sadly :( They look cool anyway though, but that reminds me, you guys should make some kind of stealth ability for the scout/sniper. He can't do too much scouting before getting killed :/
Thanks!
Is that the stealth i see!?!?!?!
lol, nice :D
Well, in Alpha 4, we plan on expanding the crafting system, and adding tools that you can actually use, and possibly some kind of blueprint system. This plans to be ready by next week. If you're looking for long-term, well, check out the description/summary, but basically, it's meant to be a Sidescrolling RPG-Action-Sanbox-Hack'n'Slash-Adventure-Fantasy Game, with lots of cool stuff inspired by many games. We're looking at putting in the other 2 races (elves/dwarves), Having a fully functional multiplayer environment, lots of monsters and combat stuff, a true PvE type thing, where it's literally You vs the World (see Zendikar) lots of machinery/contraptions, magic/skills (maybe some kind of skill tree like in Diablo 2), magical items, leveling/experience stuff, trading/economy, NPCs, and just about anything else we think would be cool.
I've actually realised that all that should be in the description.... Thanks!
Looks cool, What's it about? I'm quite interested to see how it turns out.
yeah, we'll be doing linux, mac and everything, but not for some time yet sadly :(
Thanks anyway!
Q: Why does your chest turn into a drill?
A: Why doesn't yours?
thanks! [SPOILER ALERT] In Alpha 3, we plan to include a crafting interface, but not one like minecraft, it plans to be far more simple. It's kinda hard to explain, but i'll give you an ASCII picture:
[] + [] + [] = []
something like that ([] being grid squares) Order won't matter, and were considering doing an in-built blueprint library :)
:O! I can't belive i hadn't found that before! Ok, i love this game even more now!
Thanks man, appreciate it :)
are talents in the game yet? In the screenshots you have here, the 8 or whatever buttons down the bottom look interesting, which i assume include talents, but I don't have them when I run the game? Is this a bug, or an accident, or perhaps they just aren't in-game yet?
Yay! Fixed! But i forgot some stuff last time i reported to you guys:
+ When you're in the title screen, pressing enter, well, it get's intersting. basically, it crashes. Not like someone running into a pole or something, i'm talking about a B-52 crashing into a nuclear power plant level crash.
+ I had an idea you guys might like to consider later: Mines. These could be items that you can pick up, and use at any time to place a mine on the ground, beneath the user. These mines would be detonated when an enemy walks upon them, as mines tend to do, dealing damage in a radius.
Good work, Carry on.
This, is an excellent update. This compared to 0.5.7, although not much seems to change, the balance is far better. I feel like I'm actually playing the game right now. Things i noticed:
+ There's a some bugs when 1 or more members of your team die. Things like when you enter another deck, your dead comrades are there, with 0 health and actions though, but they still move on Solo-mode, and still block up things
+ I can't really tell at this stage, but do the enemies get tougher with each deck descended? If not, they should :)
+ I'm not sure if you did this on purpose, but on follow-mode, your whole team changes to the colour of the solo-er. If this is intended, i wouldn't reccomend it, you need to be consistent with that kind of thing.
+ Grenades don't seem to do much?
Anyway, great job, looking forward to more!
for japan, there are square watermelons :)
Yay! Can't wait to try it!
Yes, the jumping into blocks is a bug we're working on, and you can target diagonally. See the DSD images?
