Screw developers like this who get everyone exited by acting like they are going to make a finished product. You lie to and mislead people. You never had the intention of finishing this game it was just a hobby for you to experiment with and develop your personal skills in game development. Shame on you and all of the indie developers like you.

Probably wants to save that experience for when the game is fully released. The beginning is going to be the best part dont want to spoil it :P. Just my guess.

Honestly i think this is the best thing to happen to this game. There was so little progress put into this game in the past year (Not saying there was none just little). Hopefully the new developers dont wind up doing the same thing. There comes a time in the development when the sheer amount of work to be done becomes overwhelming and the developers back out. Very few get past that point and are able to stop making excuses and move forward despite the difficulty of it all. Good luck guys, if you manage to see this game through you will make a lot of people happy who have experienced multiple mid-development Pokemon games come to an early end.

I understand what youre saying. I saw youre moving on to a new game as taking the easy way out, but i wasn't aware of how committed you were to this game. It sucks that your friend is away i was exited to see this game come out soon, but i like the concept of Critter Island and ill be following its progress. I didnt mean to come off in a negative way i just have seen many Pokemon games stop abruptly halfway through.
