Any possibility of adding an RTS hybrid mode? So you could have strategic capture points, resources, upgrades in the round, bases, base building / upgrading and a commander with top down view giving instructions. NS2 meets Chivalry meets Age Of Empires / Stronghold Crusader. Honestly, that would be amazing and would definitely be amazing and would be... amazing! :D

Just had a thought for the future or a sequel game:

Your game + RTS elements similar to Natural Selection 2 crossed with Stronghold Crusader / Command and Conquer.

So basically, Shogun vs Shogun, 1 player on each team is the Shogun and has an RTS screen similar to Natural Selection 2. Researches upgrades and commands units.

The rest play as normal with the first person sword fights and have to capture resource towers, destroy enemy fortifications and try to destroy the enemy base similar to NS2 and Team Fortress 2.

Players are rewarded for following objectives, capturing points and getting kills and can upgrade their kit. Players get better armour, different units available to them and the battles get more and more intense as the round continues.

Various different classes which become unlockable as the game goes on with heavier units / tanks becoming available later in the game.

Possible Classes
Soldier class, average weapon selection, medium speed, medium health.
Engineer class who can repair armour and build fortifications / defenses.
Tank class, tall 7 foot character model, carries heavy weapons, large health.
Espionage class, smallish guy, low health, can scale walls, fast in combat.
Archer class, very low health, ranged weapons.

Just some ideas. Would be wonderful to have an RTS/FPS hybrid with swordplay elements! Loved NS2 and Chivalry and you guys are making something awesome too, so keep doing what you're doing :)

If we can test it early, things like balance can be worked on before it's given out to the masses which is just as important as bugs!

Edit: If you guys need some beta testers, a lot of us here on moddb wouldn't mind helping out!

Dammit, where is my copy of bf2!? :(

I got an MSI ge70 laptop last summer. It's been fine for all gaming needs! I'd recommend a PC though as laptops tend to get hot and in summer that's gonna be a problem if you live in a hot place.

Well, if some decent mods come out I'll be purchasing these games :)

Two people spawn as the fade but the player skin remains as normal human skin and they carry a weapon around looking all normal. These two players then have to kill everyone else before the people work out their identities. They can only attack people when they transform into fade form which takes a second or two. Once they have transformed into fade form, they can't transform back unless they've killed someone and absorb said person's body. (Idea taken from TTT for garry's mod, would be pretty epic having something like this!)

On the earlier versions of ESF I'd pick Goku, fly to the highest point in the map, and throw a massive spirit bomb taking as many people as I could with me! :D
