I like the idea of real locations, but it can still fall into the categories above.

There is a further set of modifications to FA2 called FA2sp, to properly use that a different "fix" is required. I will post it shortly.
If skirmish does the same, go read the installation/troubleshooting guide.
XWIS has gone down apparently, and their hosting for RA2 is therefore unavailable in its present form, however the Internet Archive remembers...
Visit archive.is or archive.org and search for the url linked above in the article, or search for the correct terms. I picked a random date/time from a few years ago: Web.archive.org
I appreciate the pointer, but I'm working too much right now, there is no time.
I will investigate allied #4 when I have time
For those who play the Allied campaign, Sun temple should be working.
It must be something simple, like something I changed in the rules, I don't recall changing any of the scripting on that one.
I think Allied 4 crash is some map decoration content I didn't include in the patch.... the next full pack will have it, but I will do a local playthrough to be sure.
What about the Soviet campaign?
This won't be a long lived snapshot, I've been making a lot of new assets like crates/lamps/utility buildings etc, and I'm gonna be updating maps with them, including the missions.
Uploading a mission patch, please test.
I have rejigged techlevels on various buildings so I have to adjust the missions for that.
Oh? In all the tests, Sovet #3 worked perfectly, can you give me more information on how you played it and what happened? Soviet #4 is incomplete, so I'm not surprised it has issues, it was included to get initial feedback.
Feedback please?
A map was included accidentally (Isolated North) without the requisite terrain updates necessary for it, don't try to play it :)
Ok this is gonna have to be replaced again... some of the art fixes applied were broken, going through the art manually to fix.
Scorched Earth mod for RA2 should also be compatible with Exagear, I have seen users screenshots with it.
The garbled wall art in the middle is caused by the map rendering program erroneously choosing the wrong palette.
You know, in all the testing and rearranging, I don't think I've ever had that scenario where it gets destroyed. I did for a time consider making the statue weaker so that destroying the dreadnoughts was actually an urgent matter, but since I never did, it never got destroyed.
I don't really have much time these days, but maybe I could change it so the Soviet base produces some V3 units to attack it after you capture the Allied base? What are your thoughts on making it at least possible?
It's not really a "cruise missile" though, so I gave it a rocket sound. Although I tested a dozen sounds with tweaked tempo and eq to get it to where it is now, many of them were very annoying, and this seemed to be the best compromise. Also hearing the V3 coming like the jets adds to spatial awareness, so you don't get surprised that something randomly blew up.
Go to the tutorials tab and read the installing/troubleshooting article.
So apparently the Migs and SandVipers are silent while flying, so a new update will come soonish. Taking the time to fix some imperfect cliffs on a few existing maps, but I'll be converting more thirdparty made maps to work with SE and match the level of quality too.
I'm not sure what that is, but I suspect it's a driver/directx issue, and you should try method #2 with the CNC-DDRAW wrapper installed. You can experiment with the renderer options in the ddraw.ini after the first load.
I find ATI/AMD cards just work generally, but Nvidia and Intel are not so friendly.
Do you mean you can't get into the main menu? Or do you mean you crash when starting a match?
There are no plans to move to Ares/Kratos/etc, because the mod is basically static at this point, only slight tweaks are made to the core units and gameplay. Almost all development is towards "assets" like buildings or terrain, or in a few cases updating old voxels.
The new winter roads you see are about 60% done, and will be used like the new buildings, to make more interesting maps.
Nobody likes small maps? Interesting.
It's mentioned below, unfortunately time is limited, and mission 12 is still vanilla, so it can't be completed yet... on a side note, mission 9 really needs more content I feel
