Im 21, i go to college for my bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, and in my spare time i surf Levels4You.com, make maps for UT2k4 or RF, model stuff in 3Ds max or other mod related things. When i comes to modding i don't really have a specific trade though i just kinda learn it as i go.

Finished Remake of the map Waste Treatment Plant for Mars Wars 2.0 ... used alot of custom meshes ...
that must have been laggy.
not really, it actually plays quite nice (the whole map was split into about 6 or so portaled rooms ... any face with a "Portal! XD" on it is a portal :P ...
and alot of those objects are static (except doors ... although i should have added some more deco "movement" in the map :/ ... although it was an RF map remake so i only added detail where i thought it lacked detail ...)
Nice map, i don't know what in the hell would make that guy think it'd be laggy. That is a small map, and it's been made efficiently.
I bet it runs flawlessly.
