You might have the Beta release?
i know that Bloom shader and the Dynamic lighting can cause it too crash
on some machines. id got a chance to test this on a few Launch's lol.
Reinstall everything and turn them off and set to compatibility mode.
this might solve most of the crash probs and if you happen to have a
slight lag in that system, adjust the performance options till you have
a setting you like. this is another fix i found to work well in that system,

your quite right there and yes what makes a game great is how you feel
for the character, the story is also important though as this is what
binds you to the character. it is a shame that some game development
company's are starting to get greedy and the recession has also
encouraged this, but that cant be helped atm as of the circumstances.

Shenmue? haha! that's the game im looking for atm :D

by looking at this, This has given me alot to think about in what i
