Well, its bad that the radar doesn't work, this in many ways makes the game unplayable which is a shame.

Thanks, what is really funny is that this shark was already inside the game files, but the developpers for some reason decided not to make it a "huntable" species. A possible explanation is the low agressiveness of this shark, I have reflected this and given him the "lemon shark AI".
Not a big fan of scary games Huntson80? ;)
Ah the Sand Tiger Shark! Had a bit of a hassle with this one, the texture is done by me.
Hmm... very cool idea. You will have to work hard on the dinosaur animations and the way L4D maps handle larger models.
But I'll be cheering on you and this project.
Ok, stuff is moving forward. I'm working on the sharkopedia at the moment, but the good news is that all the career mode maps (except for Cuba Caves) have been made available for the random mission mode. I have 5 new sharks for you to hunt, new screenshots coming soon!
I agree, better to pay a bit for something good than get mediocre stuff for free. I just hope it will be available in retail in Europe. I hate the perspective of having to pay more for the shipment than for the actual game.
Wow, that good to hear. Your project is looking better and better!
Nice work and good luck with the textures.
Amazing, if this project is ever finished, it will be the best looking JP game ever. If its ever released that is. Forgive my skepticism, but I seen far too many ambitious projects starting out great, but never getting finished.
Still, I wish you the best of luck with your project. It does look wonderfull and I sincerely hope it will become a great game.
Great jeep! I do agree that you could add some dirt to the skin, but its not a really big issue. Wonderfull job.
The Bronze Whaler shark is the new addition to the list of sharks that you will be able to hunt with the wildlife mod. Further additions will include the Grey Reef Shark, the Blacktip Shark and the Dusky Shark.
I coded the Orca to be a real 3D ambient animal and added her to the sharkopedia. The same will be done with all animals in the game, including the Whale shark, the Manta ray and the Humpback Whale.
With a bit of luck, we will also include new marine animals never before seen in "Shark!".
This is the Megalodon added to the sharkopedia. There is an ongoing scientific debate if the Megalodon should be classified as belonging to the genus Carcharoceles rather than the genus Carcharodon like the Great White. There are good experts on both sides of the debate and neither side has any really overwhelming evidence.
In the mod I decided to describe the Megalodon as Carcharodon as this view is more traditional and also because the in-game Megalodon does resemble a Great White in many aspects.
On this screenshot you can see the result of a successful random mission Megalodon hunt. I edited the size and weight of the Megalodon to be coherent with the most recent scientific studies (warning: the Megalodon will now be a bit bigger and tougher than in 2001 ;P).
The Megalodon will feature in random mission mode in its very own "Early Pleistocene" map.
Great stuff guys, I admire all the hard work you are putting into this project.
