Yep, for a variety of technical reasons I needed to cram the entire soundtrack (33 tracks, about 3 hours total) into one (uncompressed) audio file.
Fixed in v2.0.0 (among other issues). Should work fine on Windows now (I hope).

Sorry, but no. UplinkOS is basically another game, and would require a complete rewrite of the mod. Uplink: Deep Blue is for the old guard. Pure nostalgia.
Thanks. Hope you’ll enjoy. Next update is in the works too, planned for release later this year.
Check the documentation and the XTRAS folder. You can customize almost everything, incl. restoring the radar / threat indicator / hud compass. There’s also a torrent for the mod at archive.org (https://archive.org/details/heroes-unleashed-v-101.7z). I‘m busy with the next update, hopefully ready by the end of the year. It‘s going to be... huge. :)
Thanks. Yes, there will be a major update to Heroes Unleashed in 2020. Probably towards end of the year. Check the GhostRecon.net forum for news.
No. Why would you think so?
Happy anniversary! Here‘s to the next ten! 🙂
Make sure your extraction utility didn’t place the mod in a subfolder (nested Heroes Unleashed folders). The text file modscont.txt needs to be at the top level. If the mod still doesn’t show in the menu, you either have a corrupt download (rare), or didn’t extract with 7-zip (e.g. WinZip or WinRAR) and the archive didn’t get unzipped properly (happens all the time when using WinZip, WinRAR etc. instead of 7-zip). The archive is ultra high compressed (customized 7z settings) which many third party tools choke on.
If you’re the guy that PMed me over at Ghostrecon.net than this should be solved. It’s always people not using 7-zip to extract the mod. WinZip, WinRar etc. always mess it up.
Glad you got it sorted, and very considerate of you to post the solution. Hope you enjoy Ghost Recon: Heroes Unleashed.
I’m on Mac, so not an expert. Maybe try updating graphics drivers. You can head over to Ghostrecon.net and I’m sure our folks can sort this out for you.
Looking for 3ds Max and Blender modelers willing to help out, mainly with character and weapon models. Please drop me a PM here at ModDB or over at the GhostRecon.net forums (http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/), if you’re interested. Thank you.

Thanks, much appreciated. 🙂
The legacy addons do not take Heroes Unleashed all the way back to vanilla Ghost Recon, but they let you adjust a number of mod features to be much closer to the original game experience.
There’s a third-person mod available at GhostRecon.net
Same here. I prefer the original POV.
Thanks. Visit GhostRecon.net to download the 1st/3rd person view (and hundreds of other great Ghost Recon mods).
