Call them alterators. Or alternators. Though I prefer the first one, that seams to not be a real word. Let's make it a real word.
But actually the question you pose is a very good one.

Owsome. Glad to see more games using blender. Good luck with the game. It looks great.
If a game is not available on an on-line database that guaranties my rights on the game and access to the content from anywhere and everywhere. I download it from anywhere and everywhere I can find, and usually don't stick with it for long. Because it's not stable most of the time and it actually feels frustrating to have illegal content on my computer.
From what I've seen so far to reduce piracy?
(I don't get why they call it piracy I think some people that you would call pirates feel they are doing something good and I think to an extend they do.)
-the best thing to do is make the games affordable and available.
(and wy not make it availanle to people that dont have money to spare?-you wouldn't get any money from them anw!)
Valve with Steam has the method for providing that safety of ownership but ultimately what draws the line is how match money you got and how long do you think you would want to own the game for.
which can only lead back to the quality of the game and the intention of the game developers them selves not the "consumer" or the "pirate".
This is cool...Ow-some way to involve the community!
Ive posted that link on YouTube with the advert for the game being free in 2009 and the video link now seems to have been removed... So no proof anymore... I just hope the original creators are now selling the game not just someone that jumped on the opportunity to make some money off it. That's my concern and I hope desura cheeks this kind of things. But then again it is posted by one of the administrators.
It seams that its not wazanator... This game was advertised as being free for download in 2009. That's weird...
The point is freedom of speach because censorship is exercised with out letting the game be what it may. If you cant get it and you are still opinionated about the quality or gameplay value of the game then you have enjoyed more freedom in your life than you deserve. If the game is crap then it will do crap. I think its more than stupid and feel sorry for the guys that are waisting part of their lives making it, instead of trying to evolve and expand their minds. But thats my subjective opinion and usually people at a position of authority like the people that run this db use that power to supress in this case or in other cases to suport. Thats the problem. The filtering prossess that should not be happening here. It should be open ... You know... A community .... I think everyone can judge for themselves thank you very much....
I find that it's wiser to start with a prize range in mind so that you know your limitations and know how much is worth putting in the game. Because the other way around you put everything you got in the game and develop it for years and then it might be worth for you 200 pounds for each copy but who is going to pay that money.
Thnx for the post on the music in game. The ambient is good and gets better halfway in. But I thought you would rather mix the two sounds together than pause one and have the other play. Maybe it would not work well like that anyway.
I think it's just sad that a db with it's pure nature being that of information. To be so biased and not able to transcent the midle bamfack american influence. One day not even comments will be buried becase that is freedom and progress. It just needs a litle perseverance from the people that run this community, as if a community needs to be run by someone...
so how whould you go about puting that into a game?
coz it sounds good.
Whould you split it up in samples and asosiate it with hapenings?
Im just curius coz there isn't enogh in heredb about music in games...(check out the film ghost dog get some more old schooll inspiration from the riza.}
though you might have already...
you got to get this running on desura too you know... for the games sake
**** man i actualy bought in to it and was like **** this guy is kinda loopy...
Try blender.
your game will need alot of optimisation but its the most complete open sourse thing out there.
Blender.org
lol i should check the dates ont this posts....
Everything about this game is great even more so the very original and individual visuals. Keep up the good work and don't compromise on public demand keep it individual and inventive. It's like your making a new weird movement in video games. Revolutionary stuff.
Ither way this is something unity is missing and if an engine let's people make things happen with visual logic it just becomes more user-friendly. Something like that would be better off integrated in the engine anyway. Good work guys every one that hates programing or just can't get it, with this he might have a chance to make a game in unity.
Why isn't this on desura guys?
Really cool compositon.
Yeah your right I just wanted a respond that's why I kinda flipped there for a sec.
thnx.
Anw the team now has a total of about 42 and a half thousand dollars from "support medals" I think that's enough to start doing it just for the love of it... release it for free and get it over with. either way I wont be playing...too boring already....
Man I'm really sorry but the more I check out about this game the more of a scam it seams.
You could be using the free version of the unity engine if you wanted, witch makes my statement before about your costs of production nullified.

Other than money for virtual badges the only real support and involvement this team wants from the community is to stick around for as long as it takes for them to make a game that is as original and special as the best fps around... which for them is COD MW.
I hope I'm wrong.
I am harsh on this team because there doing something that could be great but they already failed and don't know it. Maybe they do though...
But the players that will invest definitely do not.
Any incentive and alternative way to support the game other than money would do. And it would be a stronger argument towards what you are trying to do or say that you are doing. Because the way support is given now is not that different from any other game out there, the only difference is that the investment is done during production rather than post production like when you buy any other game. Which is also questionable whether the project is slowly released and completed already behind closed doors.
Right now for me this is the case, that it could be for the love of money rather for the love of the game.
And not worth the investment till its done, since its completion might never happen or take indefinite time.
Hi I understand that the production costs for a "AAA" game are high and you need us to show active support for the love of the game. But what if you introduced a system were one can get support medals for introducing friends of them to the game. You will have a greater amount of registered members, potential investors and an overall more active community.
well its a valiant effort good luck guys ill be tracking...
I loved what you did with this map man.
the scale gives CS's game-play a completely different feel.
good stuff.
that is a great design it feels like something handmade from a blacksmith.
id like the option in game to carry a few of them with me.
because it seams like something with a disposable one-use function and that would eliminate the need for reloading animations that would prove extremely complicated with loading the gun powder and stuff... just an idea...
