Completely agree with what Notch says about game reviews being bloated - in my opinion game critique needs a complete overhaul. At the moment, games seem to be incredibly polarised in reviews. With films, a good but not great film is 3 stars, whereas a good but not great game is 8/10.

I've been playing for a while as Rohan and been loving it, but at what point is war triggered? I'm on day 32 and although I see little notifications about the factions rallying or diminishing, I've had no cutscene and seen no large battles/sieges by any side.
Am I just being impatient?

I wish writing was sought after more - I'm not a coder, modeler etc, but I'd love to give writing for a mod a try. Unfortunately if I ever do see a position for a writer, it asks for things like 'references to past projects'. Having never written for a mod team before, I don't think my non-existent mod writing history would be very attractive - so I've no idea how I would break into this.

Excellent! The design on this is really well done.

I absolutely love the free aim in Resistance and Liberation, it's a matter of personal preference but I find it to be extremely useful. Having it here is fine in my opinion.

I would love that in my world. Best thing I found was a huuge pitfall that stretched from the surface to almost the bottom tiles, and it was pretty wide too.
