Scarcastic suggestion, heavily modernised F-104 with stealth/reduced RCS fuselage and wing shape, internal weapons bay, TVC nozzles for both pitchand yaw, laser guns, single piece canopy, glass cockpit,etc. etc.

Hold target select button to use the tracking camera, also I'm sure everybody forgets about this, you can unload all your main and SP payload by holding the fire+weapon select button to perform "Alpha strike"

well adding back the engine nozzle heat distortion could be a start in the visual department, the other is well more into weapon system, for starters increase multilock count for weapons with multiple sub/stored homing projectile (for example the MMIC-L5 should be able to lock on to five targets one for each sub/stored projectile for each hardpoint)

so it's going be a while before we could see a F-18, Well atleast a gun on a MiG-31 I can practice boom and zoom tactics.[s]and phoenix skin for typhoon[/s]

quick question, I do notice some of the earlier(pre alpha, desura era) footage that the aircrafts had engine heat distortion effect, I wonder why was it removed on the current 'released' steam version?

you kinda forget about that mission in Ace combat where the tanks is able to parachute down instead of just drop down unless you shot it down, this could be one of the way to fire ground units but not buildings/ground objects,

Make sense, since when did you saw a F-5 fired an AEGIS ship?

So the loadout will be visible once fired, do they can have all Main, Sub and SP weapon usable after launch? Still could work on aircraft with internal weapons bay but still something to fix look into.

Also mind if I add a additional AI type/selection for the firable units, like we could make a unit an Ace/Grunt AI while set level in the ini file or an additional AI the is Drone where it follows/fly around/near(very) the mother aircraft and fires at the mother aircraft selected/locked target. The ability to "recall" the launched aircraft is also a cool idea where once reattached to the mother aircraft it resupply/repair slowly?

Mostly the concept but it'll be nice to see both one more traditional bomber like shape with blended wing body and the other some odd flying doritos.

As for the workshop atleast downloading a mod from the workshop wont potentially break anything in the core game, even we have to add something new like a particle effect for a laser beam-bolt we're probably going to create a new file for it anyway. Even most of custom planes use their own custom afterburner rather than the core game one. Though the ability for a separate file to overwrite the function of the core game file without replacing it might do the trick.

now this campaign is what Vector Thrust really about, alot of self tinkering needed but done correctly it can be a master piece. This just brings back the old days of 80-90s DOS military flight sims, but with the taste of the arcade flight sim.

The music was great(, and presentation is better(more vector thrust campaigns/missions should use the text box option more instead of the dialog), the plane selection isnt wide but hey, why they call this game "MiG-29 Fulcrum"

All I can do is put on a horse mask and say "I love it!". Cant wait to put some recording of the campaign, or atleast silly edit doings to the campaign(Space Battle ship KarelDoorman anyone?)

Hope there's more Vector Thrust recreation of the old 80-90s DOS military flight sim from you.

I got to murder about 200 passengers on a commercial liner with a unguided bomb, 10/10.

okay jokes aside I'd say an okay for this one I recommend having a tone for the dialogs like the old "AudioCom.ogg" just to notify the player there's a dialog/the dialog changed and even alert certain mission objectives.

And not entirely agreeing with Mattoropael but like what he said, the limited one aircraft and one SP weapon per mission makes it more like a challenge mode mission(J-35 family) than a campaign. And seriously cut the bullet sponges the 5th mission is just a pain I have to whip out a F-59A and an Odin just to take revenge.

On and all still a pretty interesting campaign, keep up the good work.

kind late but still I did some thinking, I'm not sure is it possible to shrink/expand certain parts of a model in the Orge engine, although this could cause either some Z fighting/odd bump. Same thing with the possibility of overlaying a texture with the Orge engine.

Also the stun ability you're talking about should be more suitable for a SP weapon, a new kind of toggle SP weapon would be nice with it's own fuel/ammo.

so far the only thing that makes it flash it a at the start is these lines(copy over from the overdrive mutator)

I'm not exactly sure what skin tint really means but I know the red glow from the overdrive mutator is from a reactor.

TS should consider adding the ability to hot swap part of a skin file if possible, or the ability to overlay a skin /texture on deploy.

Crazy idea:
I'm not sure but do you think it's possible to add the ability for when the aircraft to change skin or part of the skin(glow map) when it is "deployed" unlike the overdrive's whole red glow from the reactor.

I was thinking about making something kinda like the FFR-41MR(from Yukikaze)'s distinctive "tatoo" like glow when in RAM mode

I dont think a second SP is really necessary, besides the Main/MSSL weapon are all range unlike SP's air/ground only (though some are buffed down/reduced range/lock on time on ground/air target)

Though an additional equipment selection menu/section is something to think about, like Gunpods for fighters without guns or ECM/targeting pods(reduce effectiveness of missile/increase max lock)

I'm not sure but the MiG-29IB's radar is a little kinda bugged, I have to go like <3000m so that the target able to be locked on/show up on HUD. Also I'm not sure why but AI planes(atleast in skirmish) doesnt keep custom skinned weapons and hardpoint(?)that is on the .skin file.

Well the late game MSSL is more like HACM with longer range than a QAAM, QAAM however should behave like its AC counterpart like turn back for another shot if the missile missed, also maybe more resistive towards counter measures will be nice for.being a SP weapon.

And yeah, the CUDA is suppose to replace the AIM 120 so the XMAA designation is accurate.
