Oh, and a quick update for something i said in the video about UnrealEd...I mentioned that for windows 8.1 to run UnrealEd, you had to install VC redistributable 5.0, but its actually Visual Basic 5.0 Runtimes. I just wanted to clear up any confusion that might cause for those who lookup VC Redist. 5.0 and don't find anything. :P

Hi guys, I was browsing the comments, and saw that some of you were having trouble getting the game to run, with window dll issues and such, so i made a video explaining how to get it up and running. I don't know how many others have had issues with Deus Ex and Windows 8.1, but i had to make a few tweaks to get Deus Ex to work at all on my computer. I prefer Windows 7 though. LOL Anyway I thought I would post a link here to the video which I put on Youtube. No the mod isn't dead, I can't speak for some of the team, But SilverSpook and I (i was lead tester and did a bunch of voice acting for TM) have started another project that we are currently working on called Neofeud, and that title may change. It's not Deus Ex related, It's a standalone game we are making with the Unity engine, and SilverSpook has created the storyline and characters and what not and we are in a kind of still planning, but actively creating builds of the game to test out ideas we are coming up with. anyway, back to your question. No, the mod is not dead. It has just been put on hold for the moment. I'll ask SilverSpook to give his version of the answer, in case i'm wrong on some things.

Suite!! there were 20 servers on my list still operational and running, including a few i played 4 years ago!! including 2 versions of Karky's!!! Good to know it's still alive and well :D Thanks WCCC for the Server Fix!!! Maybe I'll play MP again soon.

WOW! I haven't played MP in about 4 years!! but i just hit Multiplayer like i used to a few years back to see if i could play for old times sake, and NO servers came up on the list not one! I hope it's just my internet connection or the wrong time of day to find servers!! almost midnight here.

i do have the SDK but never took the time to learn how to use it. but i am thinking about learning how to use it. so maybe in the future. :)
