Ok i like what your doing but really 2k graphics this is making the amount of people that can actually check this out very limited you should lower the graphics to 1080p while your still designing this project then when your "Done" making it bump it back up to 2k so that everyone can see the final edition in the best graphics that they can.
You don't really know what you're talking about, huh? I said 2K graphics because the textures are in 2K, not because the window resolution is 2K. You can change the window resolution to whatever you want.
Now about the 2K textures... this is a simulation, what do you expect? Also, you can easily just launch the game in other lower quality modes that lower the quality of the textures.
that's what I am talking about the 2k graphics. That is somewhat demanding on low end computers. I dodnt mean screen resolution.
You don't mean screen resolution, yet you said "1080p?" There are no 1080p textures; it's actually 1024.
And again, as I've already answered in my previous comment: You can easily just launch the game in othe rlower quality modes that lower the quality of the textures."
ok cool thanks. Now is there a way you could just make the "game" update instead of having to download it evertime you come out with the next version?
I already replied to your question some time ago when you commented separately on the game's page.
No, because no patch solutions fully support Unity 5 right now.
Dude, great work! It looks very detailed, the lightning is also great. But what are your purposes of doing this? Are you going to make a full game? Because if so, you'll have to think to a lot of things. Will you be able to render a lot of NPCs, enemies and lightning, SSAO, without having a low framerate?
By the way for the name, mh.. Sword VR Online? I don't know x)
Good question. I'm afraid I don't have an answer besides the objectives I stated in the summary. The current game is using 2K textures right now, hence the details and quality. I never intended this to be a "full" game; it's more of a simulation for the SAO feel. Unfortunately, the low frame rate issue will always be a problem. I'll just have to improvise and optimize the game then.
Hey dude, really like the SAO Sim. v2.4.6 great work! I hope it turns into a full game soon :D
Thanks! You're actually the first person to provide feedback for that version. I really appreciate it. Before, it felt like bots were the ones downloading my game instead of people, because no one said anything.
And regarding a full game... I'm still not sure how far I can go with this project, since Sword Art Online is copyrighted and they have taken down a SAO inspired Skyrim Mod on Nexus before. For now though, this game will just be a small simulation for visual purposes only.
You could properly message the creator of SAO and ask, if you get no reply then you could create something like it but just name in slightly different from the real thing, btw loving the SAO Simulator, love the designs hope you keep up with the great work, msg me when you've add more, btw need any help with advertising in the future msg me. Keep up the great
Oh, I definitely need to change the name. Just don't know what to call it. Any suggestions?
All the designs are actually based on items and scenes in the anime. I think I'll upload a in-game comparison soon.
Thanks for the support, PresidentMozana!
