Graphics

So many people told me: graphic isn't really the point of a game. They would buy and play games if these games are funny to play. not because they are high definition, real feeling.

On the other side, we gave away the demo from Klötzchen to a handful of focus testers and asked them if they like the game and if they would buy a game like this. And the answers are similar. The game is funny but - the graphics are hmhm not so good. They would buy a game like this, if the graphic is much better.
So I am wondering why just these people told me before that graphic is unimportant.

Klötzchen is a retro game, so we all thought about and asked ourselves: Is Klötzchen in modern graphic still Klötzchen? No, it isn't. So we have a problem. If a player looks at the video and thinks, oh this is really ugly, he or she will not download the demo and/or buy the game.

We have to make a decision whether we say, ok, Klötzchen is retro and it will have enough players, or we have to engage a good artist.
