Man i haven't made a blog in awhile... Well happy summer vacation to everyone! (except for you Aussies and Kiwi's)

For anyone who was expecting me to mod this summer you might be dissapointed... I'm taking Physics in Summer school because i need the course to get into an Engineering course at University. it's from July 5to to July 27th then i have my exam on the 28th. After that i'll be getting Starcraft 2 and playing that :D. On top of all that i'll also be working ( i need some money :D) but besides all this i'll see if can do some work... unfortunately with the way my schooling is set up the next 2 years (Gr 11 and 12) i'll have almost no time to do anything modding related :(

So sorry to anyone who was looking forward to 'Chinese Dominance' as it looks like it won't be released anytime soon. Although i may just prepare the current build and release it... haven't decided really. I'm also looking forward to having some free time this summer, perhaps hang out with my friends a bit and relax (something i won't be able to do after this summer because of school).

Anyways that's enough about me... how about some E3? so what did everyone think of that? i'm looking forward to a lot of games. Definately SC II, Civ 5, Fallout New Vegas, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Star Wars : The Old Republic, and Red Faction Armageddon. although i'll probably only be able to buy Fallout New Vegas and The Old Republic... I'm also definately looking forward to the final and most epic Mass Effect 3 game, I'm guessing a release date of Late-Fall Early-Winter for ME3... hopefully it can live up to the trilogy. Something else cool about Mass Effect is the movie, i posted some news here before but the admins archived it >.> i'll post some more info when its available.

In the Winter realm of the Vinlings, Hrundel Lightbearer was born to Queen Frythia Fair Frost. Messengers brought word of the birth to King Hungarling, who had been away from his hearth for seven years, adventuring with his army beyond the Northern Frontier. Returning to his kingdom, he drowned his wife in her bath and put the men of her coterie to the sword. The infant, however, was a creature of such purity and beauty that he could not bring himself to kill it, and resolved instead to raise the boy as his own.

As he grew, it became clear that Hrundel Lightbearer was not an ordinary child. His exceeding beauty was itself a sign of his strangeness, but he also showed unnatural proclivities that were seen by some in the Vinling Halls as portents of dark times. Both fire and ice seemed to obey the boy, who could make the flames of the hearth take human shape and dance around the hall or bring a snow-filled wind through his window, to settle on the floor in the shape of a pretty girl's face -- this to impress Thendrya, a particular pretty girl whom Hrundel hoped one day to make his bride.

Hrundel's father looked on him with increasing unease. Though he needed a strong successor, he sometimes wondered if he saw in the boy's eyes the first machinations of a usurper. The boy asked too many questions about his mother (about whom nothing could be related on pain of death), and demonstrated a particular curiosity in the matter of the source of his powers -- a curiosity that could only lead to doubt about his true patrimony. The Priests of the Hall, frightened by the boy's abilities, warned their king that these transgressions would bring evil upon his house if left unpunished.

On his eighteenth birthday, Hrundel was summoned by his father to a special party in his honor, to be held inside a new wooden hall that had been erected to commemorate the occasion. All of Hrundel's friends awaited him there, including Thendrya, blushing in a special dress that she had made for the party. Taking her hand, Hrundel exulted, "Everyone I love has gathered here today to share in my joy! But where is my father, first among my family?"

There was an answering crash as the hall's wooden doors slammed shut and were locked from the outside. Bewildered pleading turned to screams as a distant crackling gave way to the roar of a fast-kindled fire -- the hall had been set aflame with the party-goers inside. Hrundel, clinging to his beloved, tried in vain to keep the flames at bay. At last he could not tame the mounting firestorm, and Hrundel wailed as Thendrya turned to ashes in his arms. As the flames engulfed him, he swore a foul oath.

King Hungarling looked grimly on the column of fire that raged on the Hall Pyre. "So the travesty has ended," he said, and turned to his priests and consorts for comfort. But they looked back on the inferno with terror in their faces, and the king turned to see a blazing figure rising from the collapsing hall. Black within a halo of fire, its flesh burnt completely away, rose a charred corpse, its hollow eyes alight with wordless pain and fury. It seized from the crumbling wreck one of the hall's still-guttering torches and turned to the assembled royal cadre.

Few Vinlings survived the night.

The Torch Bearer's screams, like tearing metal, echoed across the vale. The creature rode on a spreading carpet of unquenchable fire and gutted every town from the foot of the Skalendar Range to the frozen Harbors of the Green Sea. Wearing the king's crest and horned helmet, the monster vomited fire in waves that spread across the ground, summoned it in avalanches from the sky, spat searing bolts from the head of its staff. All things burned.

When the Halls of the Vinlings were no more and every field was razed to dust, the creature moved on to colder places.

So, pretty sad huh? well if that happened to me i'd be pretty pissed off too. All i can say is i can't wait for this game to come out and i already pre-ordered it off Impulse and it looks cool.

For anyone who doesn't know about this game its a mix between RTS and RPG. How you ask? well ill tell you: in the game there are 8 demigods, 4 are "Assassin" types which focus on the RPG style, they focus on upgrading themselves and destroying the enemy by themselves (like an RPG). The other 4 Demigods are "General" type which focus on the RTS Style, they focus on upgrading their armies and destroy the enemy with their army (like an RTS). Both types get a Castle but for "Assassins" they use it to upgrade themselves and "Generals" use it to upgrade their army. also "Assassin" types have damaging abilities and "Generals" get Area Of Effect abilities which improve their armies.

okay well it looks like im part of 2 (in awhile 3) mods now! in excited about all of them and i can't wait till there finished! u guys should take a look at them. so yup 2 mods im busy most of the time and i also have alot of school work to do as well! i shouldn't be complaining though its not that much only about 4 pages a night. so i might not be online often but i always check here once at around 4:00 and at 8:00 - 8:30 so if u ask me something after then i wont respond till 4:00 the next day! i still try to do my best with everything i do so... yeah. also if u have xfire i have my username on the side i don't have MSN tho so if u want to talk to me you'll have to get xfire or talk to me thorugh moddb. also i have a special treat to kick off the month of Red October! a song! which is right under this blog if u want to know more about it ask and i'll tell u im not gonna say it here to give it away and lazy_shi dont tell anyone either!

Also during science i wuz reading the wikipedia page for command and conquer and i found some interesting stuff about red alert 3. i know its wikipedia so it might not be true but u should check it out---> link <---(also most of the sections on ra3 are at the bottom of the tiberium and ra2 ones) if u have any questions or anything then ask

First off this is my first blog yay! :P
Secondly and the real reason for this i have but 1 question(which spread into more later on) sometimes when im in bed thinking thers always 1 thought that bothers me: command and conquer has 3 universes: 1.Tiberium: 3 games all with expansion packs. 2.Red Alert: 2 games (soon 3 yay!) both with expansion packs. 3:Generals: 1 game 1 expansion pack. do u see what im getting at here? after red alert 3 somes out they'll most likely release an expansion for it every cnc game has had at least 1 (except renegade) so logically ra3 will have one but after that will there be a generals 2? or perhaps Generals was a test to see how well the fans liked it? Personnaly im hoping for a generals 2 but who knows. Hers the part where 1 question turns into way more: if gens 2 comes out what will it be called? ehat will it be about? what factions will be in it? will it be in the far futre? as u can guess i dont sleep much with all these questions but then i remember science class and i fall asleep instantly (just kidding i like science) questions? opinions? i'd be happy to listen (or i guess read) to your ideas. thanks for reading u get a gold star. :P
