NOTE: The old version of Company of Heroes (v2.602) now is obsolete. The Quazal servers that Relic had been using have been shut down. Thus we, the Modern Combat Team, have transferred our mod to the new version of Company of Heroes (v2.700.2.47) utilising the Steamworks servers. If you want to install the most recent version of the mod, but only have access to the old 2.602 version of CoH, follow the installation instructions above but be aware that your CoH directory will be different to those given in the examples. An example of a typical v2.602 installation directory would be something like this instead: “C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes”.

If you have your COH relaunch on steam version , you only need download Modenr Combat mod .

On discussion you will find a no oficial patch made by the comunity to fix all bugs and make the game more balance and competitive.

I was using a free MEGA load, that means the download disappear in few days.

to play my version mod you need COH steam version (opposing fronts or tale of valor), with Modern combat steam version.

the problem is : to load a new patch i need around 1 day of complete internet conection without interruption or without cut energi.

In this moment that is complet impossible, including now i have internet conection and in few minutes I can lost the conection.

Sorry for that brothers but those things make me imposibilitaded.

this is for steam version , all your friend should have the same patch, some maps specially maps with bridges the AI won't do anything if you block them... try to play in MC maps and regular vanilla maps only.

sorry i cant do that ... I am not part of MC developer team, i am just a regular fan with some new stuff that they will add in this mod, the problem is the MC developers team are not here anymore , i think they stoped developing this mod.

I just making my personal changes to make it more interesting and addig all new stuff finished for the next steam patch.

in this moment i am really bussy with my work , but i will fix some bugs and add new stuff to continue making this mode awesome.

thats right... the smoke screen can make the AT weapon or ATGM miss the shot, but you need take in consideration the AT weapon have more range and camo ability to ambush, that means the AT weapon can shot before you can detect it . if you want put in risk your tanks or armored vehicles is your desition.

you need take in cosideration the cost and if you have other option to destroy those defensive position using othes abilities or units.

other think i need to know is: what kind of munition tank you are using to confront AT weapons? all tanks has a least 3 munitions types and exist 5 of them
sabot: for heavy armored vehicles
Heat for medium and light vehicles
Caniste: against infantry or AT weapons
ATGM: against all kind vehicles.
HE-frag: against infantry, buildings or defesive structures.

by the way, in real war you cannot confront an AT cannon or ATGM with a tank (this is a suicide), that is the reason to have those AT weapons, they dont have other fuction more than kill tanks and armored vehicles, this is infantry work, recon abilities and atillery or airstrike abilities etc.

If you can kill everything easly and advance with your tank alone and nothing can stop you, it will be annoying.

In this game the estrategy to advance is the priority, if you take bad desicion you will lose your units or the battle easly.

unfortunately i was talking with Zombie mod to plead for help and add russian, england and german vehicles, but i have not lucky, they didn't finish the mod and all these materials are lost.

that is weird ... do you download Modern Combat mod from steam directly and does not appear the launcher?

yeap ... i hope somebody can help me to continue the campaign... or make a conversion from WWII to modern combat using the same maps but with modern combat armies.

the change i added in the game was planned and the material was in te game , i just implemented every new thing added.

i forget put the type 86 at canon with PLA marine corps , actually is in the wrong faction, the PLA engineer has the weapon, i will fix it ... if you found more problems let me know.

USMC doesn't has the TOW missile launcher emplacement, they dont need that because they have the LAV ATGM, you need upgrade to have access to this vehicle.

USMC is supposed are faster response infantry with cheaper vehicles and strong infantry units, anyway they have Anti-tank infantry units with Smaw and can be upgrade wth javelin.

the infantry have really good upgrade, better body armor and more accuracy.

the m1a1 is a cheaper tank and has the same power than a m1a2 or m1a2 tusk, the LAV 25 is cheaper and have the same bushmaster cannon than m2 bradley, the AAVP is a strong APC with grenade launcher and 50cal, this vehicle is really devastating against enemy infantry units.

i think that is the problem... i have steam version, maybe the ModernCombat modules are differents.

i think you need to know about coding...
I know how change resources point values, but changed only for AI i don't know. sorry!
maybe you need found the difficulty parameters, there maybe you can found the AI resources income

I dont know how change the resource income but is planned the AI receive more that human , it does not have the intelligence but have more resource and it dont have fog of war.

i know how creat a requirement to have access to a specific unit.

if you search in buildings , the armor building have a specific requirement called: "required entity" that you can change the ebps and put what ever you want .

On this way to have access to build something specific , you need first creat the requirement.
