I strongly disagree. These plate lines aren't deeply accented on any Destiny Ascension model I've seen. But then again, what would I know?

Remove the dark plate lines and let the normal map handle it. (Not talking about the dark conduit areas)

The model and normal maps are "ported", but the actual material textures are made by me to work in Homeworld.

The mod for Homeworld 2 Classic is still available for download here. I will not be updating the Homeworld 2 Classic mod so if you want to play the up-to-date version, you need to buy Homeworld Remastered.

All the ships are getting a face lift. The Halcyon will be completely redone to look like the Halo Reach version.

Was never sure where they got 50mm cannons from in the lore. The cannons on the Paris in Reach look as if they measure .5m across the muzzle, which is 500mm or 50cm. Even the turret on the Gladius, when scaled properly, measures 20cm. The big turret is 10m across.

BTW, dial back the thickness on those hull lines so it gives the model more subtle division. ;)

Your normal map is too pronounced, you can see the edge of the water. You should only really see mountain peaks, just like Earth from orbit.
