Lightning was the Laser Gun weapon in Gunstar Heroes. it fires though enemies instead of just hitting them dead on. Two of these created a continuous laser beam that was extremely powerful and fired in straight lines. Lightning Shot + Fire Shot created a Light Saber device that stoped any incoming enemy laser fire, it was the most powerful weapon in the game however because of its very short range it meant you had to be right in the thick of it to do any damage at all, Lightnin Shot + Force Shot this created a laser gun whose bullets split up as you moved the D-pad up and down covering a wide and long range area, and Finally the one I will Never forget, Lightning Shot + Chaser Shot, a rapid and constant homing Laser that tracks targets at very high speeds and was resonably powerfull too, the one draw back was it only targets one enemy at a time, going from 1 then 2 then 3 and it would often become atracted to unharmable objects if the player was struck.
