this is just a demonstration of what i can do.I use a program called blender(blender.org)and yafaray(yafaray.org)please go easy on the harassment.like i said it's not my best work
Modeling is great! Rendering, not so great... A thing that i instantly noticed was pitch black shadows, you would never ever see a pitch black shadow from a lightsource in real life. The reflections look a bit weird as well, though i am not sure what exactly, but there is something a bit wrong about them. And you could make the shadows soft.. Also you should try out compositing images, add some nice effects, and that helps to tweak the scene to awesomeness..
(btw i am not trying to harass you, just giving some constructive crits on what to improve further on! :D) Also if you happen to have time, you could check out some of mine pics and leave some crits if you have any, as it is a thing that is sometimes hard to come by..
