Legends of Middle-Earth is a complete conversion mod for Age of Mythology: the Titans; and has been in development for a very long time; based on the grand works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Its history is about as rich as the game its based in.
The team is seeking voice talent to help bring the mod further to life!
What does this mean for you?
LOME requires voices for unit selection responses (E.G when a unit is clicked on), as well as voices for its single player campaign.
The units in question are from all walks of Middle-Earth, including orcs, men, elves, and the like. You will be reading from various scripts written in the languages of Tolkien to give the people of the world their own personality.
These scripts are generally fairly short and simple; usually only one to two word lines.
There is no limit to how many voice actors are required! If you wish to join in, don't be afraid! There is also high flexibility with the number of scripts to choose from. Both male and female voices are encouraged!
As for the campaign voices, these lines are for cutscenes and line spoken between other characters. You will be required to also voice a "Response Script" mentioned above for the character you voice in the campaign.
"The New Shadow" campaign, is an original story based from Tolkien's scrapped sequel for LOTR, and features fully scored, and animated cutscenes. Several characters of the campaign are already cast; but there are still roles to be covered!
