Odyssey of Dremid'ir is a heavily story based classic RPG inspired by the likes of Chrono Trigger, and other RPG classics of the period, and is in dire need of programmers experienced (or new) to Unity Engine!

Odyssey of Dremid'ir (OOD) is driven primarily by its drive to explore, and its plot is carried by its strong emphasis on characters, and how they get on with life living the very post-apocalyptic fantasy world of Dremid'ir.

OOD is a very top-down 2d game, with art work all based in painstaking traditional, hand drawn art. To reflect the dangerous world of Dremid'ir, a sketchy, heavy pencil style is put into every drawing! If you are interested in sampling some of the art work, check out the MINI ART BOOK!

OOD also aims to revitalize the dynamic action of "Active Battle Systems" (ATB) by delivering real time combat that uses the player's surroundings as a battlefield. When an enemy is engaged, fights will never remain static, as foes will move around, or work together with their own abilities.

Follow the story of Codrin, and Daciana; two sheltered siblings as they start their journey into the broken world to search for a safe place to truly call home. Along the way, they'll discover dark conspiracies, power-hungry nations determined not to fall to the wrath of the nature, and crazed tribal cults that still hold onto the old world traditions. What kind of characters will they befriend along the way? And what kinds of monsters await them to take only one false step to their doom?

A vast majority of the game and its gameplay is largely fleshed out. There is both an art book, and a design bible ready to help guide the product to the finish line.

Payment:

OOD's first stretch goal is to create a demo to present to a Kickstarter. With funding from that campaign, I am only interested in using that money to pay the team (you)!
