2D Platformer: Programmer, Animator, 2D Artist, Composer, Rev-Share job

Hello,

Spectral Studios is looking for assistance with a game from people with experience in art, programming, or music.

We’re a group hobbyists ranging from college students to professionals who are working on creating a Metroidvania style 2D Platformer using the Unity Engine.

Game Development has already begun to progress and we require just a few more members before we begin the real work.

We mainly require Programmers, Animators, 2D Artists, and Composers

You will not be paid upfront, however once the game launches you will receive a portion of any profit we acquire (Rev-Share) based on individual contributions to the project.

Our team mainly uses Discord as our form of communication so you would also have to agree to create a discord account as well.

Basic Requirements:

Programmer:
Proficient Knowledge of C#
Willing to work in a small group of other programmers
Able to take criticisms and willingness to learn
Unity Experience not required but is a bonus

Animator:
Prior Experience with 2D animations or Unity Animation
Ability to work with Sprite Sheets

2D Artist:
Able to create 2D arts of the fantasy genre such as characters, enemies,
backgrounds, etc
We need Sprites and effects artists mainly
Able to create 2D Sprite Sheets
Open Minded and proactive

Composer:
Able to create an ambient soundtrack to match the theme of the game and
willingness to try new things. (Fantasy Genre, Metroidvania Style)
Open to criticisms and a team player

Prior Experience on a Project is not required however it will be a bonus if you do have experience.

Our teams is a small group dedicated to finishing this project as best as we can, we do all we can to accommodate our members and we hope that once you are accepted you will treat everyone in the group openly and fairly.
