Hello, I am the Game Director to an up and coming survival horror game that is currently in deep development. I plan on doing a comic book tie-in in the near future, but for now, I am looking for a concept artist for the project.
My 3d character artists and modelers have been working with references I was able to scavenge online. So, it would be a nice change of pace to have some in-house art to draw from. The concept artist should be able to draw a defined and layered environment for our level designers to create. The concept artist should also be able to draw detailed characters in multiple different angles (t-pose). If hired and working relationship is good, the concept artist would also be given the opportunity to create storyboards for the game, as well as draw the comic book tie-in (Storyboards and the comic book gig will not have the same budget as the concept art gig. The budget will be larger).
Currently, the budget is tight as I am paying for all of this mostly out of pocket, and with so many departments that need coverage, I don't have much for concept art. I can pay about 100 dollars per conceptual art piece, but that budget will eventually increase when and if funding is secured. We're simply designing a test level for now.
