Hello,
My team is making a small 3rd person cyberpunk survival game, where you play as a crafty and resilient survivor in a harsh and dangerous world. We are looking for a skilled animator who has the ability to work with, edit and adjust motion capture animation we get from a number of marketplaces. This game's art style is realism, so the animations for characters must follow in the same style--nothing cartoony.
As the animator, you'll be tasked with rigging duties as well. Considering this is a small team, we need members who can wear multiple hats. Your first assignment will involve the basic locomotion move set any and all characters need. We have a total of 3 human characters and a couple of robots. This is all we need to complete our vertical slice, and then move on to full production.
One of the major things we are looking for is a sense of cinematic language through animations. Each combat sequence will have small cinematics laced between them to give extra emphasis on the impact of the blow. I can provide examples once we really start to talk.
