Resonance Games is looking to partner with a talented 2D Character Pixel Artist to help realize the vision of our first game: 'Resonance: Rhythm in You'.

"I'm a talented 2D Pixel Artist, and I'm already hooked by your first sentence!" we hear you calling out (probably), "..but what's the catch?".

We'll come clean with you: At this moment we're not a funded studio. That said, we are currently working towards presenting our game to a plethora of publishers while courting other funding opportunities in the next 6-8 months, that's where you come in!

Resonance Games itself is a small indie business that is looking to create its first title (one of many!). The studio itself is built to be worker oriented, with fair and transparent salaries and profit sharing for its developers. We eventually hope that Resonance Games can build itself up as a successful Cooperative business, proving that game studios can run on a worker-based model.

Please check out our Facebook Group to watch/try our Alpha Prototype and get an idea of what the game we're working on is all about, as well as view the concept art we've shared (which will eventually be translated to the 2D character art that we need for the game):

Resonance: Rhythm in You is a rhythm RPG where the player takes control of a Hero in the town of Zephra. While his main goal is to take care of his wife and child, the discovery of an old power will send players down a road full of zany characters and memorable moments. The game itself is set to be around a 6-8 hour experience, and it's with the help of artists like you that we hope to bring this world to life.

If you're interested in this opportunity, Resonance Games is able to do paid, remote contract work for character sprite animations. But in all honesty, we would prefer to find someone who is interested in working long term with the team (eventually moving to a part/full-time position), while gaining a stake in the project's profits, as mentioned above.

If you've read this far into the post, we'd like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We're excited to bring the world of Resonance: Rhythm in You to life, and we hope you can be a part of that!

...Can you hear the music?
