HIKKY Co., Ltd. announces to hold the “GameVketZero”, an indie games showcase in the virtual reality (VR) space, for 7 days from April 29, 2021 (Thr) to May 5, 2021 (Wed).
We are accepting exhibitor applications from both individuals and corporations which starting from today February 16 (Tue) to March 2 (Tue) 23:59 JST (6:49 PT, 14:59 BST).

What is GameVket ?
GameVket is an indie game exhibition event held in the VR (virtual reality) space.
This inaugural event will be titled “GameVketZero”, aiming for a new form of game event in the new era.
You can visit the virtual venues from anywhere in the world not only with your VR devices but also with PC and smartphone browser.
This is a new form of indie game event utilizing the virtual space, where you can go around the dazzling venue to explore various indie games and talk with game developers and visitors in real time.
It’s completely free of charge for both exhibition and entrance! No special knowledge is needed to take part in as either exhibitor or visitor!

How to participate
You can access the venue easily from the normal PC and/or smartphones by simply clicking the URL that we will deliver later on.
With a VR device, you can enjoy the vivid experience of 3D graphics.
*Planned to be compatible with Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest2.

What’s in the showcases?
This event focuses on digital games.
With no limitation on hardwares, genres or platforms, a wide variety of games will be exhibited.
How to purchase games?
You can purchase and download the games by opening up their distribution platforms from the forthcoming catalog pages in the GameVket website. You can easily open catalog pages inside the venue and purchase later.
*For the trial play we are currently exploring possibilities.
How can we communicate with other visitors?
GameVket is open for 24 hours during the event period. You can schedule your visit with your friend or family and access to the same venue to look around together.
You can also talk with other visitors with your microphone and take photos in the venue to enjoy the experience as if you are going out together.
Can I talk and interact with indie game developers?
In principle the GameVket is “unmanned” and the developers do not necessarily attend their booths.
If exhibitors announce their available date and time on social media, you can show up at the same time and communicate with them at the venue.
How can I exhibit?
We are accepting exhibitor applications starting from February 16 (Tue) to March 2 (Tue) 23:59 JST (14:59 GMT). Even if you have no experience of VR, you can exhibit easily and simply by uploading promotional video, images and other data's.
