Hello, I am quite new in RTS games, and I have a question, What comes after AOE 2 and 3? Thanks cx
I guess Halo 2 RTS(from Microsoft and Ensemble-dudes who did AoE series) will finally be for PC(unlike Halo 1 RTS which were only for Xbox)
Alas it seems there will not be AoE 4, so the only answer and reason why we are here is- mods.
Look guys to this little thing, supposed to be released still in summer.

Reminds me of buffed up supcom.
Still waiting to update, patches and full release of New World:Meridian which can be played under development.
And how about this one ?
I'm waiting this one.
Ashesofthesingularity.com
Exactly. xD
Superior succesor to SupCom? :D
Next suprise from Steam is Act of Agression and Grey Goo.
Well, not, Ashes of Singularity is more like a TA & Sins of a Solar Empire & Company of Heroes crossover, not really a successor of SupCom..
Well Act of Agression is a modern warfare, but I don't like it, and I've played Grey goo, but that is a dime of dozen RTS, nothing more sadly ...
Hi all,
I'm just posting a quick link to Rise of Legends and other fantasy rts games below for any interested in exploring the world of Aio and related fantasy/scifi/rts game worlds.
The game is mainly an rts game but contains elements of rpg (leveling hero units) and turn based games (in the world campaign mode) and is also a moddable game so there is potential for more. The settings include European steampunk gunpowder fantasy, Arabian nights magic fantasy and ancient Mesoamericans with space aliens sci-fi so there is a diverse mix of worlds, stories and possible gameplay.
Check the Rise of Legends moddb page for many links, content and news updates: Indiedb.com
Also if you're interested in checking out more older, independent, forgotten, etc fantasy, post-apocalyptic and sci-fi rts games - check this list Rol.heavengames.com.
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms, Rising Lands, Paraworld and Divinity: Dragon Commander are probably the most similar rts games to Rise of Legends for fans of this genre.
Our prayers has been heard.
Check this one my dear colleagues at arms:
